This is a very private mountain home surrounded by green and peace. Your private forest. Very romantic open layout. Lots of light. Wood floors and electric heating. Very quiet, relaxing and cozy. It has a decompressing effect on it's guests. Perfect to rest your head. Phone access is up to you. Amazing gourmet kitchen usually inspire me to get creative cooking. We have internet. To get there by plane...Fly into Burlington and rent a car. It will be approximately a 40min. Drive till Middlesex.
The house have many activities around at a short drive. Brewery tourism, farm to table restaurants, mountain biking, skiing, snow boarding, snow shoeing, Montpelier (the capital of Vermont) exploring (very quaint city), swimming in the rivers or simply relaxing.
We have internet but not cable TV. TV is on Roku so sign up into your account on Netflix, Amazon or Hulu just remember to sign out before you leave. HOT TUB IS OUT OF ORDER.
You may want to spend lots of time absorbing the cabin feel (it's wonderful). The mountain is yours when we are hosting you and we advise on running around the porch in the nude it's an enlightening experience.
We have a regular bedroom on the main floor with a queen size bed and on the loft we have a king size bed. Also the couch sleeps one.
Guests will make their own meals. Supermarkets are about a 20 minute drive into Montpelier. So stock up!
Please be free to use any of my supplies in the cupboard and please just replace it.
The house is close to major ski resorts...Stowe, Sugar Bush and Bolton ( about 35 min.).
The house is close to Hunger Mountain and Smuggler's Notch for amazing hiking experiences. Smuggler's Notch is my favorite...when you get to the top of the mountain there will be a beautiful lake.
Waterbury beach/reservoir, waterfalls are also around. And of course the excitement of Burlington (40 min. Away).
Explore the restaurant scene...here some of my favorites:
Hen of the Woods ($$$)
Mad Taco ($)
Neci..New England Culinary Institute ($$$)

It's also a short drive from Red Hen bakery one of the best breads/croissants in Vermont.
Around the rivers they will rent canoes, kayaks and paddle boards.
