The house has a red painted lining around the window and door, It's situated between a blue and yellow house.
It's an ancient house dated from 1500 with a ‘cave’ feeling. This is how the old houses In Évora were built in the 15th century.
Because of the thick walls and small windows, the house stays cool inside during the summer and warm in the winter!
UNESCO calls Évora the best example of a city built in the Portuguese golden ages of 15th & 16th century and this house represents it perfectly.
