Las Mañanitas Unit LMBB2
San Jose del Cabo, Hotel Zone.
As you arrive at the southernmost part of a long desert, the last you'll expect is life. Ironically, it is precisely this that thrives. The perfect match of heat and sea and the flowing of rivers into the ocean create a wonderful spectacle of life. And in here, just a few minutes away from the Oasis that is the estuary, the luxury and magnitude of this second-story unit will overwhelm your eyes.
Welcome, to Las Mañanitas' unit B2.
This elevated Mexican Hacienda seems to bring the skies and paradise closer to the ground. As you arrive, the contrast of the red-brick-colored floor tiles and the soft, sand like color of the walls seems natural, a transition between the earth and the rocks. Ebony colored furniture make a sharp dent in the otherwise undisturbed surfaces. A mirror, colored in steel, seems to float ghastly above the deep dark wood. To the left, a laundry room, fully equipped, is ready for your use.
Further down the aisle and to the left again, a masterful kitchen basks in the view. Its dune-colored countertops seem to scream in joy against the chocolate wood of the cabinets, and the many appliances seem to merge sweetly into the contrasting tones. A three piece set of bar stools in wrought iron stand guard up front.
Just past the kitchen, the Dinner, with its six wooden chairs dressed in wood-woven patterns and soft couches, showing the bare skin of the dark wood they share with the round table, are gently accommodated atop of a beautiful rug that seems to be made from drawn-on sand.
To the right, a red colored Livingroom, matching the floor tiles, blends with the beautiful coffee tables in dark wood and golden trimmings, as well as the ironworks in the lamps and the glass atop the center-piece. A massive entertainment center matching the color of the woodworks around the house seems to be the paramount governor in this piece. A small office desk, dwarfed by the rest of the furniture, holds a special place next to the window panes, sharing an unparalleled view.
As you look outside, into the terrace, you can see the malachite of the palm trees, intertwined with the crème of the sand and the rich steel-blue of the sea, slowly creating the light blue of the skies. Sapphire pools break the even emerald grass inside the complex, and white clouds, rare as unicorns in this land, show off as ivory patches in the otherwise turquoise skies. And every morning, little by little, this blue design shifts, changes, into a fiery display of molten gold and white-hot steel, shading every hue of red and blue into the horizon.
Inside once again, the Master bedroom is a palace of solitude and sensuality. Romanticism at its peak, and overlooking the same splendor than the rest of this home, the Queen Size bed in blue garments seems embedded in white walls and light colored wood. A lounge chair in the style of Old Mexico overlooks the balcony and skies. On the other side, a small, individual couch awaits your favorite book and wine. The private terrace is accessible by sliding glass doors.
The master bath is a hallway lined by mirrors hiding a closet and mirrors above the double sink. At the end, the hallway breaks into a room covered with marble tiles that hold a bathtub and shower, carefully taking care in the detail on the tiles above. Glass panes shield the shower from splashing water into the tub.
From the guest bedroom, the perspective is certainly different. Two double beds in colorful attire seem to be opposing the otherwise empty walls. Their wooden headrests matching the vanity mirror, entertainment center, and nightstand in the room. A wonderful iron lamp sits atop the nightstand, illuminating both beds. The bathroom for this piece is in the clay Hacienda style, with colorful fish painted into the otherwise pristine pearl color of the porcelain bowl.
All rooms provide access to the terrace, and they all have glass sliding doors, so you will not miss a heartbeat's worth of the magnificent skies. Outside the living room, four lounge chairs face the ocean. In front of the guest bedroom, a hot tub awaits your use. From the dinner, a six seat outer dinner is ready for dinners in the moonlight ocean between friends and family. From the master bedroom, the private terrace holds a table and two chairs, creating the perfect ambiance for romanticism and candle lit wines.
We hope you enjoy the perfect experience of Cabo this Unit has to offer. We will await your return.
