The Murphy Room has a queen-size bed and shares a bathroom that is located a few steps away near the kitchen. This room is named after our yearling filly, Zans Flashy Murphy. She was our first foal and holds a special place in our hearts. Eventually, this room will have a Murphy bed in order to maximize the space. Steve is a masseur and therapist. The Murphy Room doubles as the massage studio because of the space available for the portable massage table.
The Murphy Room. is a smaller room in our B&B with a queen-sized room. We are hoping soon to appoint it with a Murphy bed. It is ideal for guests who need a second room.
Guests have access to the shared bathroom, kitchen, living room and rest of the farmhouse with the exception of the Boss Mare Suite and Dunlee Room.

We are a farm. The original part of the farmhouse was built in the early 1870's. There have been obvious renovations since then. Dry Creek Farm B&B is about rustic, country charm.
Guests are expected to respect their hosts, the farmhouse pets and any other guests' space.

Dry Creek Farm is a collaboration between Lisa, Steve and a host of pets.
Lisa is home-officed (for a national non-profit) and travels extensively within the US. Her passion is horseback riding, natural horsemanship and just about anything outdoors. She bicycles (both road and trail), runs and is an exercise coach. Lisa has a passion for recess and play. Her motto is 'Find your passion and pursue it!'
Steve is the farm foreman, cook and chief bottle washer. He also is the head wrangler, irrigation/farm/gardener, mechanic, masseur/reflexologist and jack-of-all-trades. Steve is more zoo-keeper than anything else and is passionate about artistic expression. Steve's motto is: Life is art.
Our primary focus at Dry Creek Farm is horses. We not only care for our own (5 mares + 1 year-old filly + 1 three-month old filly)....we board horses as well. We have corrals, round pen, arena and 40 acres of easy to challenging trail riding. We are minutes from the thousands of BLM acreage in the Uncompahgre Plateau (which includes the Roubideau Wilderness Area - 30 minute drive). The Black Canyon Of The Gunnison National Park is 40 minute drive in the opposite direction.
If you're traveling with a pet, Dry Creek Farm is the place to stay. We have room for everything - horse boarding/horse trailers, travel trailers, dogs, cats, you name it. We have lots of space and lots of confinement capacity.
We have business capabilities and are well connected. We can direct you to numerous outdoor activities, local restaurants and sight-seeing. There are three wineries within a four-mile radius and each has weekly tastings. Massage and spa amenities at Dry Creek are available upon request for an additional fee.
We can also pair other meals with your room and with some notice can expose you to the local produce and agricultural products. For those guests arriving late in the day, we recommend that you ask about supper. Once you set foot on the farm, you won't want to leave to find food. Our typical meal is a Farm-to-Table offering and can be served inside or out. Enjoy a fire in the outside fireplace, at the yard's fire pit, or perhaps you would find a creek bottom bonfire more to your liking.
Fresh-out-of-the-oven, spelt flour scones and coffee/yerba mate/tea/hot chocolate are breakfast fare.
