Our B&B is the result of the renovation of a peasant’s house where different activities such as growing grapevines and olives were carried out until recently. The renovation was done with low environmental impact. We have also made sure to use alternative energy wherever possible. For example, in order to produce electric energy and heat the water, we have chosen to use wind turbines and solar panels on the roof: this is a statement of our desire to integrate ourselves with nature as well as to show visitors our environmental stance.
In our B&B we have created a familiar environment which is simple in style yet has carefully chosen details.
On the ground floor the B&B has a large open-space kitchen/living room area plus an en-suite. On the top floor there are two double bedrooms and one triple room. The interior decoration pays tribute to a sense of beauty but it also satisfies practical needs. We have kept some of the aspects of peasants’ homes which are typical of the rural society which existed in this area up 50 years ago. This has also been done by preserving and restoring the furniture that we now use. At the same time, we have provided different amenities to make sure our visitors’ stay is pleasurable, comfortable and relaxing. Thus you will find lovely bathrooms with showers and hairdryers, a safe for valuables, TV, air conditioning and/or heating, access to an iron, fridge and internet.
The building is surrounded by a large garden with olives and a view which extends towards the plain of the
river Arno and beyond, towards the Appenine mountain chain.
You will be able to able to enjoy the tranquility of the place and take advantage of the many opportunities
the territory offers, planning your stay according to your needs.
