Ingrid was the perfect host and easy to communicate with. The house with its wonderful view really suited us. It had everything we wished for and there was no problem to fit the 8 of us in the house. To enjoy the surroundings properly I recommend you travel by car and then it is easy to visit Rovinj or just some of the local oil and vine farmers. I hope we will be able to come back in the future! Thanks, hvala, grazie!
We had the most wonderful stay in Ingrids house. We were two adults and four boys (12-21). We all enjoyed the stay. The house is absolutely beautiful and perfect, both inside and outside. The restoration has been done very careful and in such a good quality. The house has a pleasant temperature inside. Beds are good. The view from the house is stunning and the village where the house is located is so fantastic charming. Awsome restaurants and small shops. We will for sure visit again. One of the best houses we have ever rented.
Absolutely top notch. From start to finish. Welcomed into this beautifull 400+ years old villa by Ingrid and her parents with freshly done strudel, sweets and two bottles of wine. The place is just breathtaking. The house itself, the pool, the surroundings, the view, the whole old village, the restaurant just around the corner... Words dont do the justice... Ingrid, thanks for having us!
We stayed with our family in this beautiful home. Ingrid and her family are such pleasant, open and lovely People. They were very helpfull and communicative which was very much appreciated! The home is really gorgeous, the same as the pictures. It's all quite new and very spacious, the pool and the outside area is a big plus and the view is breathtaking! Perfect place for a holiday!!
Ingrid and her family welcomed us to their beautiful home with a bottle of vino and cheerfulness. The home is wonderfully restored home with modern appliances, blazing fast wifi. The home is several hundred years old and makes you feel like you are stepping back in time. It is comfortable and the views from the back are breathtaking, truly. The home is in a small village. The people there are kind and welcoming. There are several cafes and restaurants, and a nice antique shop. The church in the center of town rings their bells several times a day. Very charming. If you are a biker (mountain, road, or motor) the village is a wonderful place to base out of. Ingrid speaks very good English and Italian. The pool is clean and refreshing. If you want to relax, then this is the place. We highly recommend this home and are thankful for the wonderful hosts that welcomed us into their home.
We stayed in Ingrids house in Oprtalj for one week in July 2015 with our two small children and some friends, and it was amazing! The house itself was spotless, well kitted out and very generous, exactly as shown in the photos. The garden and pool were just wonderful and the view was simply breathtaking. We arrived after a long drive and were greeted by our host, Ingrid, and her parents. They showed us round, answered our questions and were very helpful. They had even baked an apple cake for us, not to mention filling the fridge with cold beers. Our stay was perfect. The wonderfully picturesque town is incredibly peaceful and laid back, with only two restaurants and one small shop. It is very close by to a lot of major attractions so there is really plenty to do if you want to. The swimming pool was well used, especially by the kids, and there was also a nearby playground they used a lot. We all really enjoyed our stay and cannot recommend this house enough! We are already thinking about returning next year Thank you again Ingrid!
