Fully furnished 2 bedroom garden apartment in the most beautiful part of Sydney. Close to the beach and the city, this enchanting location has a taste of everything. Truly a great location if you like to be close all amenities.

A rare opportunity exists to stay in a fully furnished newly renovated lush garden residence in one of Sydney's most prestigious area's.

Set back from the street in a beautiful garden setting close to beach, shops and bus stop.

Location and Transport:

Your local community parks, cafes, bank, post office, boutique shops, supermarket, pub and restaurants are less than a 5 minute walk away.

A bus is at your doorstep to transport you to Bronte beach in 5 minutes or the opposite direction to Bondi Junction in 5 minutes, where you can take the train into Sydney CBD in 3 stops. Alternatively take a direct bus to Central Railway station. All buses leave every 3 minutes to Bondi Junction, and buses leave to Bronte Beach Randwick Ritz, Coogee Beach, Maroubra Beach and various other locations every 10 minutes. The bus 400 will take you to and from the airport. I use the App 'Citymapper' for timetables.

On foot you can get to Bondi Junction (The main shopping area), Tamarama and Bronte Beaches in 15 minutes and Bondi Beach or Coogee Beach in 30 minutes. Walking distance (1 kilometre) to the popular Queen's park and iconic Centennial Park. All of this making it an ideal central location for city and coastal attractions with no need for a car

The Residence:

This large older 'semi style' garden apartment is in a block of 4 and was completely renovated in 2014 by the owner occupiers. Open plan living and dining room with bi fold doors opening out onto a private deck, private BBQ and a lush backyard. The yard is shared although rarely used by anyone. We even have 'ocean glimpses' :)

Inside boasts two large bedrooms with queen sized beds and large built in wardrobes in both rooms. The smaller room is 3.3 x 3.6 meters and the larger room is 3.9 x 3.6 meters and looks out onto the front garden and covered porch. The main room doubles as an office with a desktop computer and printer for guest access. A spare mattress and cot are also available on request

The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and complete with brand new appliances. The dining area hides an internal laundry concealed by plenty of bench space making it an ideal area to mix drinks before enjoying them on the private deck. The dining table seats 4 and overlooks the private deck for some Al fresco dining, or watch a spot of morning TV over coffee/breakfast.

106cm mounted TV's in both dining and lounge room plus one large flat screen in bedroom 1 making 3 TV's in total. A DVD player in the second bedroom to entertain the kids if you have your own DVD's, or Netflix is available on the main TV and in the second bedroom.

What else does it include?

The residence comes complete with ALL furnishings and white goods, gas heater, high speed internet access with Wifi passwords, 2 Sonos players for streaming music to suit all, good strong hairdryer, magnified make up mirror, cookware, crockery, cutlery, linen, towels, shampoo, soap etc. It is ready for you to walk right in and be at home. Leave those luxuries at home because we have everything. It's unusually spacious for an apartment and offers exclusive access via your own front and back door.

Unlimited Nespresso coffee pods for the Nespresso coffee machine. If you prefer plunged coffee, just let us know your coffee brand preference prior to arrival and we will have it there for you.

Chocolates, bread, milk, juice, cheese, eggs, butter etc to get you started. Prior requests for specific breakfast food on arrival are welcome

Who would it suit?

This residence would suit a professional couple, mature adults, or a young family with 1 or 2 children. People holidaying and wishing to experience the 'local' lifestyle. It is NOT suitable for backpackers or young people wishing to party. The residents are quiet and respectful of space, privacy and noise. Very loud parties are not tolerated, however small BBQ's and get togethers with friends are fine. Please observe the house rules on entry.

Mobile Phones and internet:

Mobile phone reception is not great inside the apartment due to the double brick walls and location. To ensure high speed internet penetrates throughout, we have two internet connections installed

Natural light:

In the winter months ( June July August ) there is a lack of natural light due to the aspect. Summer months ( November through March ) are lighter and brighter, although we do not get full natural light being on ground level. We are referring to southern hemisphere seasons!!

Unfortunately when it rains we lack natural light even in summer.

Fuse box:

The fuse box is on the balcony of the upstairs unit in case of power overload. it has happened once so it's handy to know that it is easily rectified. We suggest you don't use too many appliances at one time on the one circuit. The upstairs neighbour is very obliging if access is needed

Beds and Cots:

The residence has 2 Queen beds which sleeps 4 adult guests.
We can arrange a portable cot and high chair if given advance notice.
An additional foam mattress is supplied and stored under one of the beds with clean linen.

Parking:

There is no off street parking and parking can be difficult ( but not impossible ) in the area. Street parking is free ( unmetered and untimed ) Beware of parking in school zones during school terms as the local council is always out in full force. Outside school term is much quieter in the area.
