‘The Lake House’ Spacious Family Waterfront

Famous trout fishing, mountain biking and hiking. Our house offers kayaks for the whole family, bikes, and all your lakeside essentials. There are 2 separate, cosy living areas, 3 fireplaces and underfloor heating. The kitchen boasts one of the best views from anywhere and with dining either inside or out, you will love it!

Soothing Riverside Cabin, Taumarunui

No cleaning fee, minimum 2 night stay. Cabin is a bedroom only, toilet, shower and kitchen located separately a few metres away. You are on the tip of a peninsula in the Whanganui River. Lie in bed and watch the fish rise in the morning, sit around the fire in the evening enjoying the peace and quiet after a swim. Mountains are 40 mins away, kayaking tours 10 mins away and Taumarunui is 12km. Please don't bring water, free, safe water is provided. Limiting plastic is much appreciated.

Harry's Lake House

Formally called "Peaceful Poplars "Step straight from your comfortable, spacious, lakeside home onto the grass reserve and a few paces to the beach and safe swimming. A large section has room for the boat with the boat ramp only a short 1 min drive away. This Bach is perfect for both a summer or a winter holiday. Ruaphehu ski fields are a 40 min drive, and mountain biking and thermal hot pools hit the spot during winter. Boating, fishing, kayaking, and hikes are close by during summer.
