Breakfast was a great touch and it was a short tram ride to the city center. The problem was that when the water broke down in the building, and I had no option of taking a shower or going to the bathroom, I obviously wanted to know when there will be a resolution. Marcos was very impatient with me, eyes flaring and basically shouting at me that I am asking too much. He actually was shouting at me and I felt he isn't far from raising his hand on me. Needless to say this ruined the whole experience. I'm addition he promised half the money back and then said he will give me less, I walked away and agreed not wishing to spend another minute there, feeling in a very uncomfortable place.

Это трехкомнатная квартира, в которой живет Маркос и еще с ним две женщины (когда две, когда одна). Он сдает 2 комнаты. Плюсы: очень чисто в комнатах, санузлах и на кухне, мягкая постель, есть вся необходимая посуда, есть гостевой холодильник, в ванной куча гелей, шампуней и т.д., расположение апартаментов (до аэропорта 15 мин. на поезде, до центра 15 минут на метро). Станция Diemen Zuid пешком от Маркоса минут 10. Удобно. Минусы: коммуналочка. Санузел и туалет один на всех. А еще Маркос курит в своей комнатухе и запах курева расползается по всей квартире.

Brian's place was great, and Brian was a superb host. The room is comfortable, roomy and clean, and has a good little kitchenette (microwave, fridge and jug) for making basic meals. Also easy access to the city centre via the metro, trams or busses. If you're looking for a friendly, chatty host and a comfortable place to stay, Brian's flat is perfect.

He is open for chatting, but respects, when you want to fall into your room and relax. He travelled all over the world and has many interesting stories to tell. The apartment has everything you need. Nadine's place was absolutely perfect for our weekend in Amsterdam. After traveling around Europe for a week and staying in tiny hotels, it was wonderful to have Nadine's spacious apartment to spread out in and relax a bit. As others have said, it is outside the city center by a few miles, but is very bikeable (dedicated bike lanes the whole way into the city), and the tram line is just a couple blocks away, which will also take you to the city center. We enjoyed getting to go home to the "suburbs" each evening and seeing a different side of the city than most tourists do. Nadine's place was perfectly decorated and we were greeted with a wonderful welcome basket of snacks, water, everything to make coffee, travel guides and recommendations. The place was extremely clean and comfortable, and I would definitely stay here on a future trip and highly recommend it to others looking for a place slightly off the beaten path in Amsterdam!

Listing is absolutely accurate and property is situated next to a canal. Everything in home is very clean and very well looked after. We had a gorgeous spacious, well lit room with big windows upstairs with our own private and very clean bathroom. Room is fitted with all required amenities to ensure most comfortable stay. We truly enjoyed our stay and we really felt pampered. It was possible to check in late, which was very imp since we arrived very late and We were warmly welcomed. Nadine is excellent host she was always available and really friendly, she also suggested us many places which are must visit places in Amsterdam. We highly recommend this place to everyone. Although the house is not in central town, it is really well communicated with tram 9 and night bus to the city center; the facilities of the room where we stayed are really great, everything clean and neat, we were even offered free fruits, snacks and tea during our stay. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, after a long sightseeing day in downtown, I am sure you will appreciate being able to sleep in such a serene district. If you are traveling by car or would like to see daily life and living environment of local people outside of tourist areas, Nadine family's place is definitely a great choice. Finally we really wanted to express here our gratefulness to the family's kindness of offering us a drive to the airport at 4:30 in the morning; they had told us the public transportation route, but finally they volunteered to take us there in such an early morning! We definitely recommend Nadine family's place.

We had as well all the privacy we could wish for: the room is on another floor with its own bathroom and pretty big. The bed was super comfortable and the fluffly blankets were smelling fresh cleaned. The possibility of using two of her bycicles for a tiny extra gave the trip a less touristic touch, as well as the long list of bars and pubs she proposed,that helped us in discovering less touristic parts of the city. I definitely recommend this accomodation and I won't doubt in reserving it again for my next trip to Amsterdam!

There's a tram stop outside, and Nadine has bikes to rent, so there's no need for a car, and the area is great. Nadine's family are also incredibly welcoming, and we were made very much at home. They welcomed us and trusted us with their beautiful house but still gave us enough space to make us feel good! They live 10-15 min away from Central Station. The commute is very easy., no worries!The room is bright and definitely spacious. Big plus : you get your own private bathroom. Marc was very helpful upon arrival and gave us top recommendations on what to do, good restaurants etc. We tried a few of his secret addresses and we were not disappointed. Can't wait to come back! Er zit een goede italiaan bijna om de hoek! Zeker een aanrader!

Das Zimmer ist schön eingerichtet und hat ein Fenster zum Atrium des Hauses, das Bad ist groß und sauber. Das Stadthaus befindet sich auf einer kleinen Insel in einer sehr ruhigen und wohlhabenden Wohngegend. Mit dem Fahrrad ist man in 20 Minuten in Amsterdam, in der Nähe sind Cafés und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Das Wohnzimmer, das auf dem ersten Foto bei Airbnb gezeigt wird, ist den Gastgebern vorbehalten. Die Küche und die Terrasse im 1. Stock darf man bis 12 Uhr benutzen und auf dem Zimmer soll man nicht essen. Man muss sich daher darauf einstellen, abends außer Haus zu essen. Aber in der Nähe gibt es einige gute Restaurants. Morgens begegnet man in der Küche den Gastgebern und kann ein wenig plaudern. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden wieder hier wohnen.

Tämä on hyvä paikka oleskella. Flavio on viehättävä isäntä. Apatment on puhdas ja erittäin mukava. Naapurustossa on kaikki mitä tarvitset ja on lyhyt kävelymatka satamaan ja näkymä merelle. Raitiovaunut kulkevat ohi oven tekeminen tutustumiseen Amsterdam helppoa. Meillä oli hauskaa ja ehdottomasti pysyä uudelleen.

Senay answered to my request in a few minutes only and picked me up in the city! I was able to take a nap and sleep the night and everything was made for me to be comfortable. I was even offered a delicious Turkish meal which was completely unexpected. Great host!

Wir waren ein Wochenende mit Judith in ihrem schönen Haus in Diemen neben Amsterdam. Es ist etwa 20 Minuten bis zum Stadtzentrum und eine sehr gute Anbindung (Straßenbahn, Bus, Bahn). Judith begrüßte uns sehr herzlich und sie hatte sogar Schokolade für meinen Freund, weil wir zu ihrem Geburtstag kam. Sie blieb das Wochenende mit ihrem Freund und es gab ihren Sohn und seine Freundin im Hause mit uns. Beide super leise und schön Judith war immer auf dem Telefon vor und während unseres Aufenthalts. Wir waren begeistert von dort zu bleiben. Das Zimmer ist nicht groß, aber das Bett war komfortabel und es gab auch einen Balkon. Sehr gute Erfahrung!

Fantastic host and beautiful home. Great location just 10 minutes from centraal station and for about the same price as a hostel it was a new experience staying in a house boat. We had everything we needed in the room, it was clean and tidy, the shops were near by for essentials and felt very at ease when staying here alongside Aart and his family. Nora2015-01-06T00:00:00ZAart was very friendly only we didnt see him much The area the houseboat was situated was some 20 minutes by tram from Central Station and easy walk to the houseboat Unfortunatly there were no resturants or shops apart from a small supermarket that only opened 8-6pm nearby The houseboat only had a microwave oven which was not clean and what we thought was a coffe machine Neither had intructions as to how to use them we had never used either styles before What we would suggest is a Nespresso machine or similar and maybe a toaster with milk,bread,butter and maybe jam or similar so as we could make a basic breakfast We would have been prepared to pay a little more for the convience and not have had to go into the city to have breakfast We also didnt bring any soap with us and there was none supplied for showering Also a TV or radio would have been great as there is nothing to do at night in the area and no connection to the outside world in the houseboat Only after searching around did we find the Internet code roughly written on an brocher I think a more formal folder with a few bits of local information and transport options would have been valuable

This was the second stay at Ruthline's, so I knew what to expect: I nice host with a lot of humor and a clean cosy room. Still a nice place which I would recommend!

Το σπίτι είναι λίγο μακριά από το κέντρο, αλλά μπορείτε να πάρετε το τραμ και να φτάσετε εκεί σε περίπου 20 m. Επιπλέον, το σπίτι είναι μια πολύ ήσυχη και ασφαλή περιοχή του Άμστερνταμ. Το σπίτι βρίσκεται κοντά στο Πανεπιστήμιο του Άμστερνταμ, αλλά είναι καλύτερα αν έχετε ένα ποδήλατο, αν θέλετε να πάτε εκεί.

5 of us (4 adults+1 toddler) stayed at Michael's BBB for 1 night. The BBB is clean and near to tram stop. It is in a quiet neighbourhood but it was overall safe. Michael is a nice host and he patiently attended to our questions as well as helped us to fix small problem with our travelling bag. The place was a bit of squeeze for us because we had 2 big bags+1 medium bag, but it was overall a good stay with Michael. We appreciate the variety of breakfast provided (cereal, ham, cheese, bread, peanut butter, jam, hot drinks, milk, orange juice, etc) and I recommend this BBB for others to stay.

Buğra2013-05-18T00:00:00ZFirst of all - thank you Michiel! It was a great stay - even we had another appartment at "Nieuwe Prinsengraacht". It was perfect. Michiel asked us if we would like to be the first in this place and it was very very close to the center. Within 7-10 minutes you´ll be at the "Rembrandtplein" by FEET! It was very close but far enough to have perfect sleep. Everyhing was close to us, a "Albert & Hejn" Supermarket, "Bagels & Beans" etc... He picked us up, brought us to the appartment and the one of us who parked the car in a cheap parking garage which was a little bit outside, was brought by Michiel back to the appartment. We used two bathrooms because the other apparment wasn´t in occupied, during our stay. So in total we had a great stay in Amsterdam and with Michiel it was a very comfortable on top. Enjoy - absolutely recommendable!!

Ах, и я, к сожалению, нужно инвалидное кресло во время моей поездки и Майкл был такой большой помощью об этом. Он помог нам найти магазин, где мы могли бы арендовать его и даже отвез нас к месту, несмотря на его его подруги BDay этот день, а также вернул кресло-коляску для нас. Мы чувствовали себя как дома сразу :) будет Def рекомендую оставаться здесь, если вы хотите чистый, уютный хозяин место ва Вы можете зависеть от

한 바와 같이 숙박 시설은 정확히, 실내의 공간은 완전히 2 명 정도였다. 밤에 당신이 방해받지 않고 잠을 수 있으며 암스테르담의 역사적인 센터와의 연결도 크고 도달 할 빨랐다 때문에 주변이 매우 조용했다. 이 손님에 문제가 다른 방에서 없었다과 화장실은 예상보다 컸다!
