“Deer roam forested areas filled with mature trees within this area known as 'Dublin's playground'. This large park also houses Dublin Zoo and Áras an Uachtaráin, the President’s residence.”

“One of the oldest distilleries in Dublin. The tour guides are absolutely amazing, and knows their history really well! It's a modern distillery, and you get to see the production happening, which is quite unusual. Well worth a visit!”

“Dublin Castle is one of the more curious castles we've been to. A mash of architectural styles from the past 800 years makes this castle quite interesting visually. The castle tour is relatively cheap (€10-€12 for adults) and on it you'll see the River Poddle (now deep underground), a river which used to flow into the Liffey, causing a small, dark tidal pool. The name Dublin comes from the early Irish "dubh linn" which means "black pool". The Dubhlinn Garden, around the back of the castle, sits atop the former site of this tidal pool.”

Kirkko
“I personally prefer St. Patrick's Cathedral over Christchurch (although they are both beautiful). Saint Patrick’s Cathedral is the National Cathedral of the Church of Ireland. The building is a busy place that serves as a place of worship, a visitor attraction and as a host for many events. A dedicated team of staff, volunteers and members of the Cathedral community are responsible for ensuring this building’s ongoing life and ministry is maintained for future generations to enjoy. Note: Marsh's Library is just around the corner from St. Patrick's Cathedral.”

As one of the world’s oldest, yet popular zoos, the 28 hectare park in the heart of Dublin is home to some 400 animals in a safe and natural environment where education and conservation combine for an exciting and unforgettable experience and one of the best things to do in Dublin!”

“The 3Arena is an indoor amphitheatre located at North Wall Quay in the Dublin Docklands in Dublin, Ireland. The venue opened as The O₂ on 16 December 2008. It was built on the site of the former Point Theatre, a smaller music venue which operated from 1988 to 2007, retaining only some of the outer facade.”
