The Corner House is a ground floor 1 bedroom apartment in a perfect location in Budleigh Salterton with private off road parking at the side of the property. It is situated in the heart of the town and a stone's throw from the stunning 2 mile pebble beach. The town boasts a museum, an array of shops, friendly cafés, restaurants and pubs, all on the doorstep. There are many great coastal walks starting from Budleigh itself. Short breaks available. If you have any requests please get in touch.
The apartment is bright, clean and comfortable with a seaside feel to its decor. There is a lovely comfortable lounge/dining room, a fully equipped kitchen with new cooker and dishwasher. The double bedroom is a light and airy space with a comfortable bed with high quality pillows, linen, mattress etc., with lots of storage space. There is a foldaway bed for a third person. In the kitchen there is sugar, tea, coffee, salt and pepper. Washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets are provided. There will be fresh milk in the fridge in case you’re in need of a cuppa on arrival. Cleaning products are kept in the cupboard under the sink. I also supply dishcloths, sponges and tea towels so no worry about packing those. Hand soap is provided in the kitchen and bathroom and toilet rolls. Towels and bedding provided but please bring your own beach towels. There is an allocated parking space at the property. At the back of the property, with access from the kitchen there is a small courtyard which is quite useful in the summer to sit out for a pre-dinner drink or to hang out beach towels etc. Unfortunately this is NOT a dog friendly property as we do not wish to cause issues for guests with allergies.
Beautiful unspoilt Budleigh is situated on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast. There are numerous walks along the cliffs and rivers and lots of interesting local towns and villages to explore during your stay. Bicton Park Botanical Gardens....Devon's most magnificent historic gardens, is open all year round and just a 10 minute drive away. They have outdoor concerts with picnics in the summer, definitely worth doing! There are excellent facilities for golfers and croquet players and during the year various festivals take place in and around the local area. You can find details of all events on the internet or Budleigh tourist office website.

'Curlew' is on the East beach in the lovely Devon village of Branscombe. It has a unique position right on the beach on a raised elevation, throw open the balcony doors and you are looking out onto the ever changing sea and stunning coastline which is a World Heritage site and area of outstanding natural beauty. There are two fine pubs supplying excellent food and locally brewed ales in the village and amazing cliff path walks East or West.
Living as close as is humanly possible to the sea, without the movement of a boat! The Chalet is actually on a raised platform on the beach, the French doors open onto a balcony where all you can see is the ever changing water and sky.

  • Absoluuttinen helmi löytyy varmasti tulevaisuudessa. Päivän ja yön läpi kaatuvien aaltojen ääni tekee siitä erityisen erityisen. Paremmat tilat kuin minä todella kuvittelin, ja niissä oli suuri suihku ja hyvät ruoanlaitto-ominaisuudet. Meillä oli myös paras sää helmikuussa ja nautimme pitkiä kävelyretkiä rannalla koirien kanssa. Kävimme fossiilista metsästystä Charmouthissa ja vierailimme myös Beerin kylässä. Me seurasimme Jonathanin suositusta ja kokeimme erinomaisia kaloja ja siruja Beerissä. Löysimme myös erinomaisen ravintolan, jota kutsutaan salakuljettajien keittiöksi, ihastuttavaksi bistro-ruokaksi, jossa on laaja valikko. Ei voinut vikaa mitään paikasta ja suosittelee ystäviä!

Kitchen Area: Topped with granite work surfaces the modern kitchen is filled with all the amenities and appliances you could ever need including an oven, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, hob and much more. You'll also find a Nesspresso machine with complementary tea, hot chocolate & coffee pods. A breakfast bar with bespoke stools made with 150-year-old antique pine sits at the end of the area allowing ample space for dinning. You’ll find all the household essentials including an iron, ironing board and a vacuum along with smaller consumables under the sink. Complementary tea, coffee, sugar & milk, are also provided. Bed Area: The position of the king size pocket sprung memory foam bed is on a raised platform, facing outwards to the horizon with a view of the hills in the distance giving you the perfect view to wake up to, flanked by an integrated wardrobe with hanging space and shelving. A Luxury bed linen set will ensure a perfect nights sleep for everyone. 2 individual reading lights at each side of the bed provide ample lighting for all your reading needs. Bathroom: The first thing you'll notice as you enter the bathroom is the floor as the light sparkles and bounces off of the 1 pennies mounted on the ground lighting up the space as you enter, you'll find a LED halo light up mirror with an in built cabinet behind accessed by a simple slide. Fresh linen is provided and available on the heated towel rail. A top of the range plumbed power shower is located in a spacious dedicated shower unit. Complementary robes, slippers, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, soap and shower caps are provided. Outside: A private spacious deck provides a panoramic view of the beautiful Devon countryside with views onto the distant hills. A unique hand crafted oak sleeper table with bench seats sits perfectly for outside dinning on those warm summer nights. Why not retire to the luxury outdoor sofa for a more relax evening. A Gas BBQ is provided to use at your convenience. Relax and unwind in the hammock with a book.     A large single room airy and light. Small double bed. The room is in a Victorian Terraced house. It is part of my family home. The house is within walking distance to the City and all local amenities. The University is close by, we have had predominantly students, who either walk or cycle. It is residents parking from November 2019. There is some free overnight parking nearby. There is cereal and toast available in the kitchen for breakfast on a help yourself basis, storage for other food.
    You share other amenities as part of our small welcoming family, that's myself and my daughter. If I don't have what you need I will do my best to get it!
    We are on the Bus and Train route to the City, but its only a 10 minute walk. The local area has some Pubs and small corner shops. A supermarket is only 15 minutes away in any direction.

    This luxury, spacious garden studio is hidden away in a private, leafy and secluded walled garden, screened off by beautiful trees and shrubs. It is in a friendly, quiet suburb of the city, just 2/3 mins walk from the nearest train station, bus stop, shop, cafe and takeaway, and about 1.5 miles from the city centre. An ideal base for a city break, or from which to explore the beautiful Devon coastline (25 mins drive to Exmouth and the famous Jurassic Coast) or the spectacular wilds of Dartmoor.
    Accessed via a garden gate at the end of the driveway, the studio enjoys its own lawn, patio area (with chairs and table available) and two fixings under the flyover roof for suspending a hanging chair (also provided). The large bi-fold doors glide across to open up almost the entire frontage to the private garden if desired. The beautiful wooden floor in the main room enjoys underfloor heating, and a stunning log burner sits on a brick plinth at one end. In the bathroom are a shower, sink, mirror, toilet, and heated towel rail.
    Two nearby parks (Hamlin Road Playing Fields, 2 minutes walk away, and the beautiful Heavitree Park, about 8 minutes walk away). Eating out within walking distance: 1 cafe and 2 takeaways (Chinese, Fish & Chips) all near Polsloe Bridge train station (2 minutes walk).

    Perfect rural location for an 'away from it all' holiday. Swallows cabin has stunning views and is very private, with it's own enclosed garden bordering fields in which our horses graze. Ideal couples hideaway with use of heated pool (1st May to end Sept) shared with a small number of other guests, tennis court, croquet lawn and games room. Well behaved dogs are welcome and there are lovely walks all around. There is a small charge of £20 per pet, payable when you arrive.
    The cabin is very well equipped and there will be a welcome pack of basic food, household and toiletry items left for your arrival. There is an electric 'log burner' in the living area and two other electric heaters, making it very cosy and well insulated during the cooler months. A side store houses the washing machine, airer and refuse and re-cycling. Free Wifi
    The Coly Valley is such a special area and with so much to see and do! Colyton is a delightful small historic town and a Tramway runs from here along the Axe River through the Seaton Wildlife reserve and down to the coast. The East Devon way is accessible about quarter of a mile away and takes you through fields, along the Coly River and into Colyton and beyond.

    Little Staddles is a contemporary cedar clad chalet, set in a pretty woodland, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It's the perfect place to relax and unwind, with a huge cosy bed, woodburner, bath and kitchen area.
    Little Staddles has been designed as a luxurious hideaway - a place where you can listen to the woodpeckers and owls and maybe spot a deer roaming in the woodland whilst soaking in the freestanding bath. Adjacent to our family home Little Staddles is the perfect retreat. Exterior Little Staddles is a separate building. It has its own access with private off road parking and a very private decked area with sun loungers, chimnea/bbq and a table. This space has been carefully landscaped with wild flowers and shrubs. The accommodation is located up steps and accessed from its balcony which has a beautiful sunny aspect. Interior There is a cosy seating area with LED television and a wood burner, including a large supply of logs. The open plan space also has a kitchen area with breakfast bar, sink, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave oven, toaster, kettle, 2 ring gas hob and all you need to make breakfast or simple meals. There is a Bialetti espresso gas top maker, a cafetière and a lavazza milk heater and frothier to make the perfect coffee! There is a superking size bed with a sumptuous goose down duvet and mattress topper which should ensure a great nights sleep. The bathroom is indulgent, with a freestanding bath where you can relax and enjoy the woodland views and there is a very spacious walk in shower. There is also an ipod dock, Dab radio and wifi.
    On our doorstep are some lovely walks into the woodlands and down to River Cottage H.Q. (which is a 30 minute walk away), or you can walk into Lyme Regis (which takes about an hour). A 10 minute drive will also have you in Lyme Regis, where you can stumble upon lovely cafes and restaurants, artisan shops and galleries, stroll along the seafront, find a fossil or two or simply sit and relax. This, the Jurassic Coastline is an area full of dramatic scenery and beautiful coastal walks.     Comfortable cosy room that can be rented as a single or twin, has tv/wifi, on road parking is available, the main bus route is a 5 minute walk and the city and quayside are within walking distance taking approximately 30 minutes to the city centre. We would like to emphasise that our home is at the top of the hill hence the superb city views.
    The room has twin beds so you can add an extra guest for an additional £12 per night after the first guest if required. There is a separate shower room/toilet along with the main bathroom which guests are more than welcome to use, towels are provided in your room, we can also provide a hair dryer and iron if required.
    The neighbourhood is very quiet and safe.

Jokaisessa huoneessa oli erittäin huomaavaisia kosketuksia kukilla, teetä ja kahvia, kakkuja, joista nautimme matkan jälkeen, maitoa jääkaapissa ja jopa pullo viiniä. Meillä oli loistava sää, mutta jos olisi ollut kylmää, siellä on upea inglenook-takka, jossa on puupoltin ja jopa tukkikori oli täynnä. Suosittelen varmasti jokaiselle, jolla on pieniä lapsia, koska mökillä on erittäin turvallinen suljettu pihapiha.

From here you connect with the South West coast path where you can go right on the Undercliffes path to Seaton or left towards Lyme and down steps through the woods to reach Monmouth Beach and to walk along the Cobb, the wall surrounding 13th century harbour.

Guests can enjoy the hustle and bustle of the pretty seaside town of Lyme Regis, but then retreat to this rural hideaway just a few minutes down the road. Away from the crowds, you can relax in the privacy of your own space - inside and out - with the gentle sound of the running fountain. Alternatively, enjoy a potter in our surrounding countryside, home to deer, foxes, pheasants and rabbits as well as an abundance of bird life. If gastronomy is your passion, of course this area is home to celebrity chefs, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall (River Cottage) and Mark Hix (HIX Oyster and Fish House), as well as a host of other quality eateries. The listing states 4 - please note that it will accommodate 2 adults very comfortably, 2 adults and 2 small children comfortably if you are not planning to be indoors all day. It will not accommodate 4 adults. It provides everything one might need for long weekend/short break or holiday. The Holt is fully furnished - big fluffy fluffy towels and bedlinen are provided, shampoo/conditioner and shower gel are provided and there is also a hairdryer. . There is an Elfin kitchen area which offers a sink, fridge (with small freezer compartment), double hob and microwave and storage space for food. The king size sleeping area is on a mezzanine so not suitable for people that do not like sleeping at heights, have limited mobility or are large framed as the area is under the roof. There is also a double sofa bed which is 'sleep ready' in seconds. There is underfloor heating, plenty of hot water and unlimited wireless included. The Holt is only available as self-catering. Fresh eggs are available on site.
    Churchinford is a glorious rural village at the heart of the Blackdowns. The village has a fabulous community shop which supplies everything one might need - food, drink, papers, fresh local produce. It also has a great local pub serving food and local beers. Both shop and pub are within walking distance. Although rural you can get to Taunton in 15 minutes for some town life (and the M5) and the A303/A30 is 3 minutes away. South coast (Lyme Regis) is a half hour car trip and the beautiful beaches of North Devon under an hour - perfectly placed for all sorts of exploring! Or you can just walk out of the front door and you're on a lovely walk or adventure. The Holt is also a perfect stopover for those travelling with their families to Cornwall and want to break up their journey.

    The Garden Studio is a Detached purpose built contemporary living space tucked away in our garden (we can't see you and you can't see us) within about 15 mins level riverside walk through a park to shops, esplanade and the sea. Private deck and lawn space which is a mass of bluebells and daffodils in the spring. LUXURY bed Linen and superb White Company towels. Lovely rural walks within 2/300 yards. Well insulated, double glazed and oak flooring. A convenient cabin and ideal 'reading' retreat.
    You are quite private with your own pedestrian access through our garden ( and newly planted small orchard which is full of daffodils and bluebells in the spring) so can come and go as you like. The Studio was purpose built about 9 years ago and is well insulated, double glazed with a large sliding door and is cedar clad. It has oak flooring with a small decked area to the front. The Studio measures about 4 x 6 metres and is 2.10 m high inside (or 6ft 9ins) so please take this into account if you are very tall. We aim to make your stay a lovely experience with LUXURY, WHITE COMPANY hydro cotton towels including very large bath sheets as well as bed linen from The Secret Linen Company and a KING SIZE BED with a lovely comfortable mattress. Retro 'Eames' chairs and designer bedside tables. There are also two HANDMADE Gabbeh-Qashqai tribal rugs made by nomads from Persia. These touches of luxury complete the picture. There are games such as chess, Boggle, backgammon and playing cards and lots of books if it's a wet day. An ideal retreat for short escapes and those who love the idea of living in a 'cabin'. PS We also supply free slippers which you can take home when you leave. One less thing for you to pack for your visit. The Studio is in a PET FREE environment. For bird lovers, spring and early summer is a cacophony of bird song with our own Tawny Owl who lives in the trees nearby a Green Woodpecker and Nightjars on the common nearby.
    It is a quiet residential area which is readily accessible by foot , (about 15 mins) to the shops, pubs, beach and sea via a lovely level riverside walk called The Byes by the River Sid where you might see the kingfishers or if you are REALLY lucky, an otter. There are many other walks right on hand including wild flower meadows and we will leave maps with routes marked. The Norman Lockyer Observatory is on the top of Salcombe Hill only about a mile or so from us and is a great place to explore the heavens. They often have open nights. Just check on the internet. The South West Coastal Path and the Jurassic Coast is right on hand with stunning walks that emanate virtually from the doorstep of The Garden Studio. There is a cycle path close by to the beach/town if you fancy exploring the area on your bikes and a lockable bike shed right next to the Studio to keep them in . The Donkey Sanctuary is only about 1.5 miles away and is a great half day out with many attractions not least being that its FREE.

We are located in the heart of Uffculme, a pretty village with two pubs, a café, fish and chips bar and two local shops. The area is great for dog walking, hiking, fishing and cycling with the river Culm close by. Uffculme is close to junction 27 and mid distance between Exeter and Taunton with a nearby rail link at Tiverton Parkway.
    The flat at The Old Butchers is a self-contained annexe with an entrance via the craft studio at the front of the property. Don’t feel shy about looking around the studio! You’re welcome to use the extra space for colouring or other crafty pastimes!
    Our village has a square with a cafe and a Co-op where everyone parks! The centre features little cottages that meander through narrow roads, past a medieval church and down to the river Culm. An old working wool museum named Coldharbour Mill is just a short walk from the property down an old mineral line.

It's a great base for walking, cycling, touring, shopping, eating and drinking ...and curling up in front of the log fire. Sidbury village is a 20 min walk away. And Sidmouth, on the Jurassic Coast, is just a 4 mile drive. A few days at Filcombe will leave you relaxed, refreshed and keen to come back!
    Filcombe Farm Cottage is a converted coach house and hayloft - from the days when Filcombe was a working dairy farm. It has been refurbished to a high standard in a contemporary style. We aim to create a home from home experience whether you stay for two nights or two weeks. The kitchen is well equipped and there's a comfortable dining area. The cosy sitting room has lots of guide books and maps to help you plan your time in East Devon. And if you prefer to curl up on the sofas in front of the log burner, there's a bookcase full of novels, piles of magazines, games puzzles and a selection of DVDs. And a plentiful supply of logs. Upstairs you will find a large bathroom - perfect for unwinding after a day walking, touring ... or shopping. The peaceful bedroom looks out over the owner's vegetable garden. Guests are welcome to pick fruit from the trees in the orchard in season. The heated outdoor swimming pool is in the sunniest spot in the garden. It is usually open May to September and guests are welcome to use it on request. Pool towels are available in the separate changing room where there's a shower and toilet. You are welcome to explore the 3 acres of gardens - woodland, lawns, beds and a stream. There's a small treehouse too if you fancy heading back to your childhood! There's space for outdoor dining as well as a BBQ on request. We provide a small welcome hamper - enough for a simple evening meal or a cooked breakfast along with tea and coffee. The hamper usually contains bacon, sausage, bread, butter, milk and eggs - so please let us know of any dietary requirements when you book (vegetarian, vegan, gluten or dairy free etc).
    The Sid Valley is part of the East Devon AONB - rolling hills, farmland, villages, woodland and of course the beautiful Jurassic Coast. Guests like to get out and about in the local area, and also make day trips further afield travelling to Dorset, Somerset, Cornwall, Dartmoor, Exmoor, Bristol etc. Visitors also find the cottage just the right space to relax and unwind - large and comfortable enough to stay put in the cottage and gardens. We've had musicians compose here, and couples celebrate birthdays, anniversaries and even get engaged! We've had people like the area so much they decided to move house! Their Coach House Restaurant is open for coffee, lunch & tea and serves wonderful home-made cakes! - 10 miles from the very pretty seaside town of Sidmouth; - 8 miles from the historic Lace-town of Honiton with its many antique shops; - 12 miles from the Cathedral City of Exeter. - The historic Jurassic South Coast; the vast sandy beaches of the North Devon Coast and both the Dartmoor & Exmoor National Parks are all within easy driving distance.     Covid 19- special notes. In the light of the current pandemic, I have altered my booking settings to take as many precautions as possible to avoid contagion of either us or guests. So until further notice (ie until the disease has run its course), I’m leaving big gaps between bookings for cleaning, and asking that people book at least for 5 days as I do not think I could safely manage a faster turnover. If you have any further questions, please drop me a message! The garden flat is our guest room, located above our detached garage. It has wide views over fields and its own large raised deck where you can sit and eat or drink wine while watching the cows and sheep go by. It has a large shower and a well-equipped kitchen (including fridge, cooker, oven, toaster, kettle and selection of hot drinks) where you can make your own meals. There is a dining area and an office corner. Our house and the flat get all their heat and hot water from a biomass boiler that burns local logs, which we happily explain to you if you would like to know about it. We are rather fond of our boiler!
    The flat is surrounded by green Devon fields and working farms. It is very gentle and quiet, however our neighbours are dairy farmers and are often up and working by 5am. There are cows nearby. Our hamlet is a lovely, gentle place, where very little happens. There is a forest with a set of good walking tracks within walking distance, and a wonderful hill with a 270 degree view just up the road. If you come in the rainy season (January to December) remember your wellies or sturdy footwear if you want to walk in the forest as it can be muddy. There is a good country pub called the The New Inn on the edge of Broadclyst about 2 miles away where you can get decent meals for a reasonable price. There is also a gastro-pub 3 miles away in Clyst Hydon, which is more expensive but very good- The Five Bells. There is a village shop and a Coop supermarket in Broadclyst. We live on the edge of the Killerton estate, a National Trust house and gardens with an interesting collection of period costume and a range of interesting events and exhibitions throughout the year. The sea at Exmouth, Budleigh Salterton and Sidmouth is about half an hour away. The North Devon coast is about one hour away.

    The cottage is comfortable, homely and well equipped, and has secure off road parking. It offers a convenient base for visiting the Jurassic coast and other attractions in Devon, Dorset and Somerset.
    The barn conversion has recently been completed. The original building dates back to the 1700s. 'Mwendafye' loosely translated means 'come and go as you please'. The cottage can sleep 4 but is ideally suited for a couple or a couple with a baby and/or 2 children. The bedroom is comfortable with built in wardrobe, and overlooks the garden. Fresh linen and towels, a hairdryer and alarm clock/radio and TV/dvd are included. There is one step from the bedroom to the lounge and one step from the lounge going through to the bathroom and kitchen. The lounge has retained some character features with its stone walls, wooden beams and unusual doorway and provides TV, wifi, and couch/daybed with hidden trundle with 4th bed. There is a table and seating for 4 people in the dining area. The glass door opens onto the garden at the front with wooden bench and table, and there is a sheltered back patio area with wooden garden furniture providing seating for 4. The bathroom has a bath, hand shower, heater and heated towel rail. The kitchen is fully equipped with a 4 ring gas hob and electric oven, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, iron, washing machine and radio. There is also an enclosed area outside with windy drier. Upstairs – is a Children’s den in the loft, with a TV and dvd player with a selection of dvds, puzzles and Games and children’s books. There are lockable stair gates should you not want your children to go upstairs. Please note that no one is allowed to sleep upstairs as there is no fire exit up there . Access to the property is via an independent gravelled driveway. It is attached but completely independent from the main property. There is parking for 2 vehicles - one under cover.
    The property is situated between Honiton and Axminster, and close to the villages of Dalwood, Stockland, Kilmington and Wilmington - within easy reach from the A30. It thus offers a convenient base for exploring a range of activities and places of interest in the south west. East Devon is famous for its Jurassic coast. Seaton, which is situated at the mouth of the River Axe(and is only 30 minutes away) also has a scenic golf course and a yacht club. (there are also other golf courses in the area at Monkton and Honiton) It is also famous for its tramway which runs through the Axe valley nature reserve to Colyton. There are other animal centers like Cricket St. Thomas Wildlife Park, Ferne Animal sanctuary and Otter Estuary Nature Reserve (which has a range of birdlife and free fishing)– not to mention places like E xmoor and Dartmoor, the Donkey Sanctuary, the marine nature reserve on Lundy Island and Paignton zoo. Lyme Regis is the ‘riviera’ of the south west, has many seaside shops and eating places and a sandy beach and offers historic walks along the coast and is only a 20 minute drive away. The village of Beer - an ancient fishing village (renowned for smuggling in ancient times) also offers some beautiful coastal walks. The surrounding countryside is particularly scenic and tranquil and there are many lovely local country walks. There is a public footpath from the farm which goes down to the historic pub in Dalwood – ‘The Tucker’s Arms’ which was built in 13th century. (It is a lovely 40min walk during the day but not advisable at night) A map of different walks is provided. Chard reservoir (said to be the birth place of powered flight) also offers a number of walks which are wheelchair friendly. Both Honiton and Axminster have weekly markets with a variety of stalls. Honiton boasts many antique shops and is famous for it’s ice cream shop which is open in the spring and summer, and lace and pottery making. It also celebrates many traditional activities. Axminster is famous for its carpet making and is the home of the River Cottage Canteen. There are many pubs and other eating places such as the well known carvery outside Honiton or one of the many places for Devon cream teas. The area also provides many garden centres, (such as Otter in Ottery St. Mary – the home of Thackeray and Coleridge) and 3 good farm shops(one offering ’Pick your own’), and 2 cider breweries. Places of interest – Durdle Door in the Dorset section of the Jurassic coast; the famous Eden project( only 2 hours away) Taunton,(the town was first settled in Saxon times – approx. 700AD) Dunster and Tiverton castles, Exeter cathedral. For something more energetic, there are a number of activities - like the ‘Landrover experience” and quad biking near Cullompton, Zorbing in Dorchester and water sports in Exmouth(and a sandy beach and model railway!) and centres offering child activities eg. Crealy adventure Park (said to be “a cross between Disneyland and MacDonald’s farm”, and Abbotsbury which provides a farm, gardens(which are lit up at Halloween and Christmas) and a Swanery, and Paintballing near Exeter. Then for those rainy days – there is the Fleet Air Museum and the Haynes Motor Museum in Yeovil and the historic Observatory in Sidmouth (also famous for it’s annual Folk Festival in July) and the Aquarium in Weymouth(URL HIDDEN) Larger Shopping centers – Exeter, Yeovil and Taunton and the Trago center. (near Newton Abbot) There are several notable National Trust properties in this area. Eg. Killerton, Buckland Abbey, Branscombe Bakery, Mill and Forge (Branscombe is also the longest village in the UK), and Shute House. There are lovely gardens like Bicton Park Botanical Gardens, Burrow Farm Gardens and Hestercombe Gardens and other historic houses like Montacute near Yeovil, Dillington House and Forde Abbey.(also famous for it’s Red Ruby Devon cattle)

    This warm and sunny room has a comfy 4ft double divan bed with wardrobe, desk and tea making tray. An ideal room for work or study, illuminated with lovely natural light all afternoon and evening. -Quality cotton bedsheets -Hot drink making faculties in your room with plenty of tea and coffee to choose from. -Shared family bathroom with nice hot shower next door to your room.
    The room is a small double size with a desk for workspace. Ideal for students or those traveling with laptops to work on, it would also be suitable for longer term single guests. Couples please bear in mind it’s a small double bed, (14cm narrower than regular doubles) It is still perfectly comfortable to share but just a bit more snug! For guests travelling with babies, a travel cot is available in the wardrobe for you to use at no extra cost but please do contact me to arrange. The bathroom is shared but available to you much of the morning and evening. A set of fresh lovely towels are provided in your room. 30min easy walk to the city centre. -Free parking on street outside. -Fresh towels and quality cotton linen. -Smoking welcome in the Garden -Pets welcome (but not on the bed please!)
    Our house is in a friendly and peaceful working-class residential neighbourhood (St Thomas) around 30min walk (1.3 miles/2 km) from the city centre. We live directly on a quiet residential round-about with free on-street parking in all directions. An ideal location for those travelling here by car. Our house is bright a peppermint green colour so very easy to identify on arrival. We are situated close to an inner-city nature reserve which is part of Exeter's Green Walk Byway and just 10 mins from our doorstep. This special walk offers woodland paths, cow grazing meadows and exceptional views of Exeter and the countryside beyond.

    This beautiful room is a part of our new house. Everything is brand new, stylish, comfortable and very clean. Cranbrook itself is a new town situated in the outskirts of Exeter city, with a very quick access to M5 and A30. Our place is close to Exeter Airport , but very quiet. Rugby stadium, Sowton , West Point and Crealy Park are not far from here. Parking on the street is always available. Taxi to the airport is about £10-12.
    Our place is just a couple of minutes away from M5 and A30.

    Comfortable family home with sea views, in the lovely seaside town of Seaton. Car parking is available and a place for bikes. Dogs are welcome to stay. This budget priced room is on the second floor, up two flights of stairs. The room has a double bed and twin bunk beds with an adjacent bathroom (with a bath and no shower) and separate toilet room. Guests have shared use of the kitchen and dining room. Our home is 15 minutes walk from the pebble beach, coast, cafes, pubs and pretty shops.

    Our home is in a quiet cul-de sac. The town, beach and sea are about 10-15 minutes walk away. We have mainly independent shops with some national shops. There are several Churches within walking distance. The Promenade is a mile long level walk. Seaton has a harbour and the Axe Vale Yacht Club. In the Summer, there are watersports of Paddle Boarding and kayaking and boat trips. Seaton is a lovely Victorian sea-side town. Excellent coastal walks.

    A beautifully restored Shepherds Hut in the most stunning Devon Countryside with complete privacy. Fully Insulated and with a wood stove for heating and double glazing it provides a wonderful comfortable, cosy escape from the modern world. Just 25 mins from coast Fully Equipped with : Cool-box; Plates; Cutlery; Pots, Pans, Kettle, Lighting inside and out; Outside Solar Shower; Composting Toilet (not scary!) Candles; Comfy Bed; Sheet, Pillows, Duvet etc. Stove and gas ring. Tre's Romantica.
    The Shepherds Hut offers a warm and cosy location right away from it all. Set in its own grassy paddock with a beautiful wildlife pond and in the middle of Devon's glorious dairy farming countryside. Adjacent to extensive woodlands the area is a haven for all kinds of wildlife. Dogs - up to 2 middle sized dogs are welcome and there is a charge of £5.00/dog/night payable on arrival Warm, comfortable and cosy the Hut is equipped with a double pocket sprung bed and bedding is also provided. There is also a barbecue and picnic table as well as reclining garden chairs, plates, pots, pans kettle, cutlery etc. The Pond is very close to the Hut which makes it unsuitable / dangerous for non swimmers/toddlers. There is a fire pit to sit around and watch the stars. Only half an hours drive from the coast Tiphayes is perfectly located for seeing Devon's delights. Exmoor and Dartmoor are both easily reachable. Beer, Branscombe, Lyme Regis and Seatown are highly recommended.
    The area around Tiphayes Farm is a magnet for a diverse range of wildlife, being adjacent to extensive woodland you can expect to see very many diverse species. The valley is mostly of ancient enclosures with original stone Devon hedges and given over to dairy farming with a few sheep about. Tiphayes is a great place to explore Devon from, both Exmoor and Dartmoor are within easy reach by car and the lovely, unspoilt fishing villages and beaches of Beer and Branscombe are only 25 mins by car.

    We are very central, there is a pub a 2 minute walk from the front door. We are close to the River Exe, with pubs and walks. Exeter Cathedral is a 10 minute walk away, and the city centre shops and restaurants are a 5 minute walk. There are lots of local takeaways and coffee shops to choose from
