We'll meet you on Wilmington Island, just 15 minutes from downtown Savannah and raise sail in the Wilmington River. You can sit back and relax or learn how to sail and take control under the guidance of your knowledgeable and friendly captain. If you're feeling exceptionally brave, you can don a full protective gear and open a bee hive for a closer look into the habitat of bees, the Brood Box (nest). Observe the Queen bee laying eggs, while learning about the unique roles and responsibilities of drone and worker bees. You'll be able to taste the honeycomb (if available) and sample sweet honey from the source; which has been used for centuries for its naturopathic or medicinal purposes. Featured on Netflix's "Love is Blind" and "World's Most Amazing Vacation Rentals," this is a unique experience. Sometimes Figgy the Llama chooses to join the yoga class. Other times, you can see the llamas & alpacas roaming through the glass. We never force them to be inside, so that's up to them. When you arrive at our beautiful urban farm, you will be greeted by a spoiled crew of rescued and alpacas. Take a moment to photograph them or take selfies. Walk down through our garden, down a stone lined path and enter the magical world of camelids, bamboo, and listen to the sound of the fountain at the center of the courtyard. To your left, you'll take in the gorgeous barn with 1900s barn doors, enter the beautiful space. The barn is built from reclaimed barn wood, 1860 stained glass window, old beams, old doors and windows. The Art of Custom Drum Building Experience. I will show you how drums are crafted from start to finish - from a raw piece of wood to a high-quality snare drum. Guests will come in and be guided on a tour through the workshop. We will discuss the whole process. I will share some great stories from my experience over the years. You will then be invited to join Michael in the studio where you can play on a variety of drums and instruments of your choice. This experience offers you the chance to see how drums are made first-hand. It will also teach you the importance of sound quality and bearing edges which you can implement on your own drums. Ask questions and take pictures as you like. We will do a short demonstration on cutting logs, sawing, and milling! A portion of the time will be dedicated to drum tuning and mechanics, so if you have a drum to work on, bring it! Let me know if another date/time works better for you. We will be riding electric bikes at Fort Yargo! I will provide the e-bikes for this experience so all you need to do is show up in comfortable clothes. This trail is for beginners and is about ~6 miles long. The trail takes about 1 hour to bike. The e-bikes will do all the work for you! We will meet at Fort Yargo main entrance Visitor's Center parking lot. The recommended height to ride the bike is at least 5 feet 3 inches but not required. You must be less than 350 pounds to ride the bike. I will give you some instructions on how to operate the bike in the parking lot. From there we start E-biking! 1. Guests join us at our Studio WIP space and dive into the world of spray paint & urban art. All instruction is done by local artists. Each guest will go home with their own piece of artwork. 2. Upon entering guests can enjoy our ever changing gallery. Feel free to bring a beverage, it’s BYOB! This interactive workshop will turn guests into the artist & be guided along the way. Experimenting with lettering, stencils, aerosol & cap technique guests will experience something truly unique. 3.
