Charming family living in a quiet area of Roullers (lovely city) with all amenities. Leasing is a creation Cubic wooden Steeven (one might call the Wood House) because it is a carpenter and ingenious, allowing to discover are creative universe. We were surprised to have coffee waiting for us in the morning with a delicious cake. Interior satisfactory for 4 with a door separating the two spaces to sleep. The beds have very good mattress, there is a large volume Thalasso shower and a large window overlooking a beautiful little garden and the place is a quiet relaxing. A fridge filled with different beers and wines, necessary for breakfast, a microwave, a table for 4 people and a small kitchen. The terrace with sun loungers invite you to take a sun bath .... The parking of the vehicle is on the street and we are 2 steps from the very historic city center. It lacks a cupboard to store Congratulations business for the hospitality and energy that develops this family for the well being of his guests ..... 4 star deserved

This property is newly and completely renovated, a very modern home. It was a perfect location for us and we were able to walk downtown in a few minutes to all the sights and locations we came to see. Our stay was only 2 nights and wished it could have been longer! The host was very accessible and responsive. The beds and bathrooms were great, the dream kitchen was awesome! There was even a piano which was nice for us as one of our two sons travelling with us could play. The historic town of Ypres (Ieper) is a must see when touring Belgium. This property is very private, well stocked and convenient. It is also very nicely landscaped, we would love to come and again to see it when it is completely finished.

Every year around Christmas, we take a break. We are looking for culture, nature and an enjoyable haven. This time we were lucky. We have found it all. The area is quiet. It takes only a 10-15 minute walk to the center of Ypres. When you arrive at this home, there is a large car parking in front of the house. You can close the entrance. This gives a feeling of safety, especially if you are traveling with children. The kitchen is big, well equipped, clean and tidy. From the living room you overview a large garden. In summer you can relax outside, play petanque. In winter you can enjoy the weather changes through the large windows. This house is a comfortable accommodation for eight people. Volledig vernieuwd,goede bedden.Rustige ligging vlakbij Ieper en op 10 minuten rijden van een prachtig wandelparadijs :"het heuvelland". De jeugd was 's morgens moeilijk weg te branden van de TV tgv netflix. De geluidsinstallatie is perfect en de nieuwe ruime keuken nodigt uit om te koken. Kom er zeker terug. Peter

Beautiful french villa in the quiet countryside. The facilities inside the kitchen are brilliant with all of the expected items to actually cook. Essuie-glaces Times a été une belle propre, appartement, moderne, qui était impeccable à l'intérieur et est venu avec le bonus d'un petit jardin clos arrière avec table, chaises et parasol pour profiter du beau temps. Marie-Thérèse était très agréable et serviable et nous a accueillis avec un sourire, même si nous avons été retardés par le chaos de ferry. Elle avait aussi de nombreux livres et brochures à portée de main qui a ajouté à la jouissance de notre séjour. Le logement était exactement comme décrit avec toutes les commodités nécessaires pour un long week-end. L'appartement est élégant et extrêmement propre. Les lits sont extrêmement confortables. L'appartement est très bien situé, à quelques pas de la gare ou soit le centre d'Ypres. Travers de la route sont 2 magasins du coin vendant essentiel et par la porte arrière, vous pouvez commencer les remparts à pied, autour d'Ypres, menant à la Porte de Menin, que je vous recommande vivement.

A great location near the station. Ypres is a beautiful little city in it's own right being reconstructed in the original 16/17/18th C style. The Two Pigeons fits in well with it's own modern minimalist interior. Our two grandchildren were seriousl impressed withe whole veture.

Grand appartement pour une famille, mais je ne recommanderais pas pour ceux qui ont de petits enfants ou toute personne qui est incapable de monter les escaliers. L'appartement est configuré sur 3 étages et les escaliers sont raides et peu profonde qui est pas rare que les foyers européens. Magnifique appartement et l'espoir de revenir bientôt!

Van harte aanbevelen. Uitstekende prijs-kwaliteit. Locatie nikkel en gastheren zeer discreet, maar beschikbaar.

Enthousiaste en fijne mensen. Prachtige ruime kamer met weids uitzicht en rustig gelegen. Uitstekend sanitair.

Hier logeren is zeker een aanrader. Erg netjes verzorgd en schoon. Bovendien is het uitzicht op de velden met koeien echt rustgevend. De racefietsen konden droog staan in het schuurtje en er is een kleine minibar met biertjes en fris aanwezig! Let wel op dat het afgelegen is, dat is juist wat wij zochten maar zoek je dit niet dan is jet misschien minder geschikt. De dichtstbijzijnde supermarkt is in het dorp verderop (en is op woensdag dicht). Zeer prettig verblijf gehad.

Ik beveel deze plek aan. Het is schoon, comfortabel en ruim. Geweldige waarde, voelt nieuw en heeft een prachtig uitzicht op de boerderijen. De gastheer ging uit de weg om u welkom te laten voelen en bood informatie over het lokale gebied, dat erg handig was. Er was een minibar om ook een paar extra's te kopen. Gratis parkeren. Slechts 10 minuten rijden naar het centrum van Ypres / Ieper. Er is een sauna beschikbaar tegen een toeslag. Ik beveel deze plek aan als u in de omgeving bent.

Een zeer prettige ervaring, tiptop in orde :-)

Wim and his wife were great hosts. Their house was lmmaculate and the view across the fields to Ypres was stunning. The mini bar was appreciated as we were cycling and carrying shopping was tricky. Highly recommended - especially any cyclists.... g

Through the site we have agreed fine, even despite our short-term booking. For us there was a bottle of apple juice from our own making. The cottage is very well appointed, stylish and finished with lots of wood and natural materials. We especially enjoyed the barbecue table: in a large chest was wood, kindling and paper provided and a suitcase full of "bbq cutlery" so that we could prepare a successful meal. The area is very quiet and there are a number of walks. However, we went to Clair Marais, a three minute drive to sail boat! However, there are many other daguitstallen possible.

Perfektes Wochenende in diesem alten Bauernhaus im Herzen der Berge von Flandern! Das Haus ist sehr sauber und sehr warm mit schönen Zimmern, Badezimmer (Dusche Italienisch) und ein Wohnzimmer. Der Ort ist sehr exotisch mit einer schönen Terrasse und großem Grillhaus mit großem Garten und Parkplatz. Die Gastgeber sofort hat uns alle bewusst, dass wir uns willkommen in ihrem Zuhause, sehr einladend. Wir bekamen sogar ihre eigenen "home Produkte" Baumpflege schmecken (lecker!). Boeschepe Dorf ist sehr schön, in einer echten Ländereinstellung weniger als 15 Minuten von den Hauptstraßen direkt von Lille, Dünkirchen, Calais und Belgien. Schöne Spaziergänge, gute Restaurants in der Umgebung, eine großartige Lage, eine wirklich gute frische Luft bringen. Superb Unterkunft im Norden des Stadtzentrums. Ein Glücks Herz! Kurz gesagt, was mehr ist, zögern Sie nicht!

Gezellig huisje met kleine living/keuken voor 8 personen, maar wel alles aanwezig die je nodig hebt. Beddengoed en handdoeken aanwezig. Bij aankomst makkelijk om sleutel te vinden, alles proper en lekkere appelsap die op je staat te wachten! Leuk met de barbequeplaats buiten! Rustig gelegen in mooie omgeving.

Lucile and Regis provided us with the most beautifully restored farmhouse in Flanders to stay in. It was clean, well equipped, comfortable and very tasteful in decor. They had left a bottle of fresh juice to welcome us, and although we did not meet them, as we were arriving late in the evening, they made it very easy for us to settle in and be there. The kids loved the converted loft accommodation, each with their own bed and storage space. The location of the farmhouse was idyllic - in the middle of the countryside with fields all around - a real break from the city where we live, it was so quiet and peaceful. However, it was a great location from which to explore many of the WW1 sites, such as Ypres (20mins), Flanders and the Somme battle fields (1 hr 15 min). Our highlights were attending the 'last post' ceremony at the Menin Gate in Ypres (this happens every night of the year since 1926, except during German occupation during WW2), and also our visit to the Somme Museum at Albert, housed in underground tunnels which had been used during WW2 as a bomb shelter for the whole town) After camping for two weeks with our three children around Europe, our three nights in Boescheppe were a real treat, and were real luxury. A big thank you to our hosts for such a lovely, affordable place to stay.

Dies ist eine schöne ruhige und entspannende Unterkunft. Entworfen für viel Licht und offenen Raum, den wir liebten. Der Zwischengeschoss ist geschickt für zwei Schlafzimmerbereiche ausgelegt. Die Einrichtung ist luftig und offen. Auch tolle Einrichtungen, schönes Bad und Couch, die auch als Bett genutzt werden können. Privater Eingang und tolle Gastgeber - sehr freundliche und gute Kommunikation. Schöner Ort, um auch draußen zu sitzen. Eine kleine Notiz der Vorsicht für jeden, der eine Höhenangst haben kann: Sie können mit der Treppe zum Schlafbereich im Obergeschoss kämpfen. Es ist aber ein fabelhaftes Haus! Wir planen zurückzukehren :)

Marie Laure was very welcoming and did a lot to reassure us and help, as we were arriving very late and just for one night. The apartment is very comfortable with all you need for a vacation here. Kitchen is very well equipped, very firm comfortable bed, sunny aspect in the morning, very nice to have a bath to soak in too. The street is quite quiet overnight and it's very conveniently located for journeying from the channel ports or visiting war cemeteries. Marie is so cheerful and friendly you'll want to come again soon!

Nous avons été très bien reçus par Dominique et Alain, chaleureusement. Le logement est idéal pour un couple qui souhaite découvrir la région des Flandres françaises. C'est une petite maison qui donne sur le potager des propriétaires, mare et canards complètement le tableau. Neuf, propre et bien décoré.

Très beau gîte dans la campagne au nord de Lille. Alain et Dominique sont très accueillants et chaleureux. Le gîte est très cosy, très bien décoré. L'environnement est très calme et donc reposant.

Le gîte "Prairie et Chaumière" est un havre de paix et de calme ou il est bon de prendre le temps de ne rien faire. L'accueil de Dominique et Alain est parfait, et on se sent comme chez soi. Pour peu que le soleil soit de la partie, vous passerez à coup sur un agréable séjour.

Located in the middle of nature, the setting surrounding the cottage is simply magnificent. We found the peace and tranquility we were looking for. A beautiful rural retreat just an hour drive from Calais. Perfect place to wake up in and take your dog for a lovely country walk before setting off on a long drive South. Alain and Dominique were the perfect hosts!

Griet leidde ons bij aankomst zelf rond. Het gastenverblijf is een onderdeel van haar eigen woning en het is eigenlijk een volledige woning op zichzelf. Er is een ruime zit/eetkamer, een mooie keuken en boven zijn twee slaapkamers. De omgeving in het West-Vlaamse heuvelland is ook prachtig. Een prima plek om met een gezin een week te verblijven. Helaas konden wij maar één nacht gebruik maken van de accommodatie. Dit was ver boven verwachting. Echt een aanrader!

het pand is in het midden van nergens; precies wat we wilden! het gaat niet alleen met authentieke land kijken, ruiken ook, geluid en schone lucht. het pand is een bekering tot het te maken in een speciale B & B en is zeer goed aangelegd. het heeft alles wat je nodig hebt; keuken, toilet, badkamer met douche, woon / eetkamer beneden. ga een steile ladder / trap, komt u bij een zeer interessante uitziend tweepersoonsbed en een kamer met 2 stapelbed. ding om op te merken is dat waar de bedden zijn (boven) zijn er geen toiletten en de trappen zijn erg steil. dus als je een jong kind of als je niet erg goed in te gaan op en neer een ladder, iets om te overwegen. het pand is een boerderij en er zijn een aantal dieren; Dit is nogal een verrassing, hoewel mijn kleine één was niet enthousiast over heel actief / vriendelijke hond :) als je een B & B waar u alleen gelaten wilt en je wilt nadenken, is dit een goede plek om te gaan.

Wij overnachtten met 4 personen in dit leuke huisje na een avond lekker tafelen bij In De Wulf. Heerlijk, zo op wandelafstand! Binnenkort sluit het restaurant de deuren, maar Griets b&b blijft de moeite: de uitgestrekte velden zijn een lust voor het oog. Het huisje was perfect in orde, proper en best gezellig. Tip: aarzel niet om voor 8€ p.p. ook ontbijt te bestellen. Lekker, vers en verzorgd!

A big house in downtown Ypres that is a perfect place for larger groups of people, especially students. The furnishing is a bit spartan, but all necessities are there. Bernard is a lovely guy who does his best to make your stay pleasant.

An ideal place to stay, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Ideal location as Ypres town centre is only a 10 minute walk away , so you can stroll along the picturesque streets on your way - plus the supermarkets, bakeries ,trains and buses are only a few minutes walk away too. Het voelde als een thuis weg van huis. Dank u Emily en Pieterjan voor het feit dat ons een verblijf in uw mooie Air BnB huis. We raden dit huis aan andere reizigers.

Emily's huis was gemakkelijk te vinden, ondanks de weg buiten wordt afgesloten voor wegwerkzaamheden, en ze begroette ons toen we aankwamen en liet ons in. Het was goed gelegen voor een gemakkelijke toegang tot het centrum van de stad. De bedden waren comfortabel en we hadden voldoende handdoeken, zowel voor douchen en in de keuken. Emily verstrekt informatie voor lokale belangen en restaurants, en de wifi werkte goed. We zouden weer verblijven en zou zeker aanraden aan anderen.

This house is great! Ieper is such an historical place and what a better way to enjoy it than by staying at Emily's place! It is clean, spacious and very well equipped. She has sites' information and all instructions to be a good guest and keep this beautiful place in shape! Lovely decoration and special "touches". Good taste Emily!

Bonjour, nous avons passé un superbe WE dans ce gite où Céline nous a très sympathiquement accueilli. Des dégustations de bienvenue nous attendaient, petit geste que nos amis et nous avons très bien apprécier. Jusqu'au moment de notre départ Céline et son mari nous l'ont rendu bien chaleureux. Nous allons le recommander à nos amis et relations qui souhaiteraient découvrir la région, seul hic hic.. plus de bière à la brasserie .... nous serons "obligés" de revenir. Francis et Barbara

Endroit calme, vue sympathique.

Celine zorgde ervoor dat we werden door haar vader begroet bij onze aankomst. Accommodatie was ruim en schoon in een mooie landelijke locatie, maar slechts enkele minuten met de auto naar het lokale dorp van Bailleul. Oudere gasten kunnen problemen met de toegang tot bed als je een steile trap beklimmen. Uitzichten zijn uitstekend en een rustige locatie.

We verbleven in Celine's plek voor een paar nachten - het was zelfs beter dan foto's. Het was echt een lieve plek om te verblijven en Celine was super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het uitzicht was gewoon prachtig! Ze maakte zelfs ons een heerlijke chocoladetaart om ons te verwelkomen op haar plaats en liet Belgisch bier in de koelkast, evenals een klein potje van zelfgemaakte jam als een extra speciaal tintje. Zou echt aanraden.

We waren van harte welkom door Céline's vader, Bernard, en rondgeleid. Het was een mooie Huis, zeer goed uitgerust en op een ideale locatie voor rust en stilte. Het uitzicht over het landschap waren mooi en de koeien zwerven na het melken in de ochtend was bijzonder. Er was een lokale kroeg op minder dan een mijl afstand, die 11 pagina's van bier en twee pagina's van voedsel op het menu, heerlijk gehad.

We enjoyed our stay at Gie and Huberte. They were very welcoming and hospitable. The room was very nice and we could do everything in Ypres within walking distance. Gie and Huberte made us a very nice breakfast every morning. Basicly we had the whole floor to ourselfs, which made the room nice and quiet. Gie and Huberte were helpful with suggesting activities in the area. Thank you Gie and Huberte!

Heel hartelijke gastheer en -vrouw. Vlotte communicatie, warm onthaal, lekker, verzorgd en uitgebreid ontbijt. Ligging dicht bij de markt van Ieper en toch heel rustig. We kregen heel wat tips betreffende uitstappen, fietstochten, restaurants, ... Verzorgde kamer en badkamer. Een aanrader.

Met mijn schoonbroer was ik te gast bij Gie en Huberte op de eerste dag van de rally van Ieper. Deze b en b heeft een zeer goeie, doch rustige ligging en is maar op een steenworp gelegen van de Grote Markt. De communicatie vooraf was perfect en de ontvangst zeer hartelijk. De kamer was picobello in orde, net als de modern ingerichte badkamer met inloopdouche. Het ontbijt hebben we bijbesteld en dat hebben we ons niet beklaagd : croissants, chocoladekoeken, een stevige omelet, kaas, vers fruit, yoghurt, verse sinaasappelsap en een heerlijke cappuccino. Een super ontbijtje voor een zachte prijs. Ook de mogelijkheid om je wagen te parkeren in de garage, was zeer welkom wegens de moeilijkheid om parking te vinden in het centrum tijdens het rallyweekend. De gastvrijheid van dit zeer sympathiek koppel is enorm en we hopen in de toekomst nog van hun b en b gebruik te maken. Limburgse gastvrijheid op zijn best in de Westhoek ! Veel succes nog met jullie nieuwe b en b en doe zo verder !

The most amazing and friendly welcome from Gie and Huberte. They bent over backwards to accommodate us with a last minute enforced change of plans. Great room that was very spacious with an amazing en suite. Breakfast to die for that kept us going through the day. They even offered us their garage to put the motorbike in. Very flexible on checkout that allowed us to enjoy our day in Ypres. Will definitely be returning.

Een super weekend gehad bij Gie en Huberte. Het is een pareltje van een huis, op 2 minuten lopen van de Grote Markt, met de slaapkamer en zeer (!) ruime en luxe badkamer op de 1e verdieping. Het contact met het paar was echt fantastisch, wat een lieve en hartelijke mensen. We kwamen binnen en het was gelijk "ga lekker zitten, willen jullie wat drinken". Heel gastvrij dus, zonder opdringerig te zijn. Op zondag een top ontbijt gehad met alles er op en eraan, heerlijk buiten gegeten in hun kleine stadstuin. Veel tips van Gie en Huberte gehad, ze kennen de omgeving goed. De prive parking (garage) direct naast het huis was ook top. Daardoor konden we gaan en staan waar we wilden; de auto pakken wanneer wij wilden. Het was kortom een heerlijk weekend, ontspannend, we voelden ons direct thuis. Niks is Gie en Huberte teveel; wij komen zeker een keer terug!! Al was het ook voor de leuke gesprekken en de klik die we hadden :-)

Que lugar é. A hospitalidade foi excelente. A casa é um antigo convento irlandês trabalhado com pisos de pedra e termorregulação de todas as estações. Níveis de limpeza da NASA no laboratório. Cama confortável. A festa real de um café da manhã era apenas 7 € de sobretaxa e eu recomendo isso.

Met vijf personen en lekker weer onder de lindeboom gezeten en een goede plek om een aantal interessante plaatsen, wel met de auto te bezoeken. We kregen fietsen aangeboden en lekker langs de lije en verder gefietst. Aardige dame.

Wir waren zufrieden mit der Wohnung. Karin und ihr Mann waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sehr nette Vermieter. Unsere Kinder haben es geliebt jeden Morgen zu den Tiere zu gehen und sie zu füttern und zu streicheln. Die Wohnung hat eine gute Verkehrsanbindung und ist schön ruhig gelegen. Es waren zwei schöne Wochen.

We werden hartelijk ontvangen en konden verblijven in een zeer aangename en gezellige kamer. Het ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid en lekker. Tevens kregen we handige tips en extra informatie over bezienswaardigheden in de buurt. Zeker een héél fijne en gastvrije B&B!

Isabelle and Marc were great hosts! The room was clean and nice as was the surrounding! We had a delicious breakfast every morning and very good and interesting conversations with Isabelle and Marc! I would really recommend this accommodation to everyone who wants to stay in this area. It's about 20 minutes from Camso Speedway (Warneton) and about 40 minutes from the coast of the North Sea (De Panne). Isabelle and her family were fantastic hosts. The location is great for visiting WW1 sites. A real bonus was the Ypres Rally, which we didn't realise was taking place, along with the fantastic breakfast.

Isabelle's place is a perfect mix of quiet seclusion, incredible convenience for a lot of sites of importance for World War 1, and both her and her family are amazingly warm and friendly. I felt incredibly welcome, and they truly went above and beyond to make my stay special. The breakfasts they prepared were amazing and the care they showed for me was evident from the second I arrived. I cannot recommend them highly enough, and if they'll have me, I'll definitely be staying with them again the next time I visit Ypres :)

Dit is een geweldige locatie tien minuten van de stad in een rustige prive-kamer met een prachtig uitzicht op Flanders Fields. De bedden zijn comfortabel, de kamer is zeer schoon en rustig. Het ontbijt is heerlijk en de gesprekken met de gastheer zijn geweldig en ze zijn zeer nuttig om het meeste uit uw verblijf te halen. Met dat, de voorzieningen zijn een beetje ongewoon met het toilet en wastafel in uw kamer met weinig privacy. Dit zorgt voor een humoristische en ongemakkelijke momenten. Als je nu alleen of gewoon als een paar reist is dit prima. Echter, met een gezin logistiek voor particuliere tijd nodig zijn.

Isabelle et Marc sont des hôtes charmants, chaleureux et accueillant et leur propriété est magnifiquement entretenu. La chambre loft est grand, confortable et un plan ouvert et offre une vue magnifique sur le jardin incroyable et les champs environnants, un environnement très relaxant pour se reposer dans. Entre eux, Isabelle et Marc ont une grande connaissance de la communauté locale et de l'histoire et ont été en mesure de fournir des suggestions pour sites locaux à voir et les directions pour se rendre à eux. J'ai aimé passer du temps avec eux discuter de l'histoire de la région, ainsi que nos intérêts, les 2 jours que j'avais étaient tout simplement pas assez. Je ne hésitera pas à revenir pour voir le reste des sites locaux et renouveler ma connaissance avec ces hôtes merveilleux. Le petit déjeuner est aussi bien!
