The cottage was a peaceful place to stay as well as being visually satisfying. The location was perfect for what we were going to be doing, which was adventuring around the beautiful Cotswolds. The little town of Dursley had a big Sainsburys where we got all of our food and was a five minute walk max. Lucy provided me with all the instructions that I needed to get to and from the car as well as locating the keys to the cottage. We had a lovely time and it was perfect for relaxing after our long walks.

Our stay was lovely. Me and my partner stayed here and found it was ideal for 2 people. The place is cosy and ideal for a romantic getaway.

Liebte die im Inneren des Ortes, aber die untere Etage ist etwas anders. Die Außenseite des Hauses ist ganz anders als das Innere, und es wurde mit Chaos auf dem Rasen vor und der Beton auf dem Boden war alles geknackt gefüllt. Allerdings war das Haus sehr schön und erwärmt sich schnell und es ist sehr gut beleuchtet Das Stadtzentrum ist buchstäblich vor der Haustür und wir würden die Bank Cafe empfehlen, zu essen, aber es gibt nicht viel anderes in der Nähe der Stadt zu tun. Schöner Aufenthalt insgesamt

Lucy war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, sowohl vor der Reise und als wir ankamen. Das Anwesen ist hell, luftig und bequem. Die Lage ist ideal - nur einen kurzen Spaziergang von Pubs und Geschäften sowie 5 Minuten durch das Dorf zum Cotswold Way. Wir hatten kein Auto, aber Verkehr war leicht zu Cam und Dursely Station, wo wir eine kurze Taxifahrt dauerte. Ein toller Aufenthalt, würde gerne wieder zu kommen. Danke Lucy!

Our stay in Lucy's apartment was wonderful! We loved the quaint apartment and it felt very homely. We had a few cold days there, but the heating system kept us very cosy inside. It was a little tricky to find the place in the dark, but we eventually found our way. Thank you Lucy for a lovely stay :)

Really lovely quirky cottage, ideal location, couldn't ask for more, great value!

I would never recommend this. The pictures are misleading at best. Your cellphone will not give you GPS information about how to reach this place, and you will have to knock on unwilling neighbor's doors to find it. It is not a cottage, it is a side entry apartment with no entry lights and a broken lock. You will need a flashlight and will not be able to see the dog poop that will get on your shoes if you come in evening, which we did because we couldn't find the place. The host will not meet you in person, nor will the heat be working (they will tell you how to turn on and inform you it is "promising" when you hear a click). There will be no signal for either the wifi or tv. You will find cobwebs on the windows, food going rotten in the fridge, and dog hair on your bed pillows. Host will deny anything that you complain about via text (using your own data plan) as you will not be able to reach them on the phone. Worst stay ever.

Alojamiento perfecto para los que busquéis tranquilidad y estar en una zona céntrica de las Cotswolds a la vez que de las ciudades de Bath (40 min) y Bristol (30 min). Tiene un pub genial a solo 2 min andando. Muy tranquilo. Una de las habitaciones ha puesto un sillon cama y una tele por lo que hace de sala de estar, conexión wifi perfecta. Glyn es encantador y contesta rapidamente a cada una de las dudas. La casa cuenta con todas las facilidades que puedas pedir viajamos con nuestro bebe de 2 años y nos puso una cuna de viaje en la habitación. Repetiríamos sin dudarlo. Por poner un pero mejoraría un poco la limpieza y cambiaría las toallas y sabanas por unas más nuevas pero es adecuado.

Check in was by lock box, which I anyways prefer because I'm always worried I'll get caught in traffic and keep people waiting. The house was very easy to find and all of Glyn's instructions were extremely easy to follow. We had the heating on right away as it was a cold night and had no problem with the wifi. The decor was beautiful. My 5 year old also loved his 'holiday home'. There are so many beautiful places nearby to visit. The pub was great for dinner and only a 3 minute walk. I would most definitely be back to stay.

Glyn was extremely helpful and the annex is very good for such an affordable price. The location is ideal if you're looking to explore the Cotswolds.

Myself and my husband stayed at Martin's place over the weekend while attending a friend's birthday in Uley. It was a lovely place, very good value and with a en-suite in the room which was ideal. The communication and check-in was easy, and Martin was very hospitable. Recommended!

A comfortable, fully equipped apartment for two in quiet neighbourhood. Good bed and bathroom. Neat kitchen with enough for nice breakfasts. Welcome was warm with a readiness to help with little needs or problems. Refreshing morning walks take one up to the readge with splendid views over the pretty village. Otherwise main roads aren't far to carry you throughout Gloucestershire.

Great host, lovely cottage. Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone. Perfect for a couple wanting a relaxing weekend or a walking weekend. Great for exploring the local area. Caroline was great and a very helpful host. The garden and hot tub was a nice bonus.

Caroline was there to welcome us when we arrived with a smile on her face. She showed us around the perfectly clean, modern and gorgeous flat and gardens. The view was breathtaking, the gardens (yes plural there are layers to it- incredible) were stunning and the hot tub was perfect! Anyone looking for a calm and peaceful getaway this is your perfect location. Caroline was the perfect hostess throughout our stay. I only have good things to say and would reccomend Caroline's place to anyone.

Caroline could not have made us feel more welcome as guests in her idyllic Cotswolds retreat. My partner and I had a lovely bank holiday weekend here. Hot tub and barbecue area were fab. And views were spectacular. She even provided home made jams and apples from her orchard as well as breakfast essentials. As we were celebrating our anniversary and a birthday, she had left a lovely message and gorgeous flowers for us. Area is lovely for walks and little towns and villages, worthwhile exploring. Plenty recommendations in her guide book for food nearby. Would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a quiet trip away.

Caroline was a brilliant host that clearly takes pleasure in welcoming her guests , and offering them whatever they may need to enhance their time at Underbury. Beautiful surroundings a great place to unwind , we only had a couple of nights but would be easy to spend plenty more time here. It's great when you go somewhere and are pleasantly surprised by all the extras that are provided but certainly not expected . Many thanks .

A lovely little annex of Caroline and Clive's home. Very quiet, and private with shared gardens overlooking a stunning view of the valley immediately below. Both Caroline and Clive were very kind and attentive, going the extra mile to McKee us feel welcome and at home; including stocking the fridge with milk, eggs, cereals, and more for breakfast the first nothing. Uley itself is as peaceful a village as you're likely to find and a very short drive away from some great pubs and nature trails. I'd definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

If you are looking at this apartment and wondering if you should pick it, definitely definitely do!! It was so much more than we could have expected. The apartment was perfect for a romantic getaway. The shower is amazing! The terrace has stunning views and it is the perfect place to enjoy breakfast and coffee! And the kitchen has all the utensils you could need and the whole place is full of personal touches that really make it a pleasure to stay in. Caroline went above and beyond to ensure that our short trip went without a hitch! Offering her time and her expertise! Above all It was her warmth and kindness that made our trip extra special! That and the hot tub!!! Which is set right next to a beautiful orchard-- it felt magical.

It was a beautiful scenic village in the hills of the Cotswolds, the views out of the bedroom windows were just perfect. It was a really nice space (much bigger than the pictures suggest). Alex was very hospitable and flexible. We had a dog with us and she was very accommodated. The local pub which does excellent food and entertainment is dog friendly too- just make sure you book your meals in advance!

Alex's place is lovely - amazing location with walks right from the door . Dog friendly which is amazing. The space is homely clean light and bright with all that you need. Great pubs in the village .. most of all Alex and her family are gorgeous and very welcoming

Tucked away from main street, the Annex is a perfect, peaceful hideaway overlooking rolling countryside. The large bedroom has very comfortable bed and the bathroom has a modern mains shower. In fact, this treat of a place gives you everything you'd expect from a 4* hotel, less the noise and presence of other people. The hosts are very friendly and were flexible with our arrival time. Sherston is a quaint village and the locals are all very friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a very quaint little Annex in Sherston with a comfortable bed and some beautiful morning views. We were welcomed by Rupert who recommended the Rattlebone Inn for dinner (which was very good food). The room is as described: clean, warm, quiet and private with all the amenities you'd expect and some nice touches such as books and a Nespresso machine (much to the joy of my girlfriend). We only stayed one night but the place would be perfect for longer stays too.

The Annex is very cosy, comfortable and beautifully furnished with lovely 'quirky' touches throughout. Alex and Rupert were great hosts and made us feel very welcome. The surrounding area is so beautiful and peaceful and we can't wait to visit again.

We had a wonderful stay in Sherston. The town is beautiful and Alex and Rupert's place was the perfect starting point for exploring the Cotswolds. Amazing to be able to go for dog walks straight from the garden along the river. Alex and Rupert were great hosts - so accommodating when we arrived late on Friday and very happy to have our overgrown, overexcitable Labrador to stay too. The annexe itself is spacious, well kitted out and beautifully decorated. We would love to come back again!

Kate's place was very clean, cosy and conveniently located. It was well stocked with breakfast options and only a short walk to Sherston centre. Sherston is a lovely quiet town with a couple of great pubs, in particular the Rattlebone Inn. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay and would definitely stay again.

A very brief visit but excellent. Location was very quiet and the apartment was well equipped. This includes a very comfy bed and masses of hot water as well as essentials for breakfast. Easy to get to badminton Met Kate who was most welcoming.

The flat is in a fantastic West Country village. We arrived late and made ourselves at home. Pictures are accurate - lounge is small and cosy, the bedroom and bathroom much more spacious. Fridge and cupboards were generously stocked with bacon, eggs, ground coffee, orange juice and fresh bread, as well as other essentials. Heating is night storage and plenty of hot water.

Cosy place to stay, Kate is very helpful person. Also you will find few nice coffe/lunch places nearby.

Jenny and her husband made us feel very welcome from the beginning The apartment was very peaceful, clean and quite large. It proved a very good base for touring Bath and Bristol, only 20 mins drive away.

The flat is a nice size for 2 people. Nicely equipped, Really comfortable bed. Pillows were too soft for us. Flannelette sheets would have been nice. A great tour base. CASTLE COMBE is a must.

Selv og to venner lejet Stacey flade for en weekend getaway til Oxford og Cotswolds. Vi havde en meget varm velkomst fra Jamie, pubben manager. Vi ankom 21:15 og trods køkkenet lukkes (lukker kl 21:00), kokken var meget venlig at forberede en lækker middag for os (burgere), som vi spiste i foran pejsen - det var absolut dejlige. Vi fandt lejligheden meget rart og dekorationer gjort det føler virkelig hyggeligt. Der er også et fuldt udstyret køkken samt te, kaffe og mælk (selv sojamælk, som viser hvordan tankevækkende værter er!). Den eneste ulempe jeg vil sige det er sovesofa i stuen, som er svært, og jeg formåede ikke at have en god nats søvn på det. Men soveværelset sengen er meget komfortable og stor nok til at passe 3 personer. Desuden har Stacey altid svaret meget hurtigt på mine beskeder. Jeg ville helt klart anbefale Stacey dejlige airbnb, som tilbyder gode betingelser i en meget rustik og smuk beliggenhed. Tak igen! :)

Min kæreste og jeg boede her for en enkelt nat getaway! Vi var ikke skuffet! Lejligheden er rummelig og ren og sengen var meget komfortabel. Vi drak og spiste i pub / restaurant og var blev gjort meget velkommen og fødevarer var lækre. Det var en perfekt aften og ville helt klart anbefale. Tak :)

Quel super petit endroit pour rester. Propre, confortable et un joli petit pub en dessous. L'équipe, il y avait de première classe aller au-delà pour rendre notre séjour accueillant et confortable. Quand je suis rentré tôt et malade d'un mariage le personnel chassait autour de me trouver antalgiques et même amené certains à moi le matin pour aider à me sentir mieux. C'est le genre d'hospitalité / soins vous du mal à trouver dans un hôtel! Merci beaucoup.

This is a nice cozy place, but I would not recommend it for more than 3 people. Once we found it (which was a bit of a challenge), we really loved it: the people downstairs in the pub were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food (it was Christmas Eve) was fantastic. Nailsworth the town seemed nice (and was nearby) but unfortunately largely closed down for the holidays. But we went on a fantastic Christmas Day hike around nearby Uley.

Shame the pub below wasn't open..!

L'appartement était très lumineux, spacieux et confortable et le lit était extrêmement confortable. Quelqu'un de l'Tipputs Inn nous a laissé dans l'appartement et ils étaient très serviable et sympathique. La nourriture au pub était super aussi. Il est très utile d'avoir une voiture disponible car l'auberge est un peu en dehors de Nailsworth. Nailsworth est une belle petite ville avec beaucoup de magasins et de bons restaurants. Nous ne rencontrons pas vraiment Stacey, mais elle a été très utile par e-mail et est même expédions quelque chose à la maison pour moi que j'ai oublié dans l'appartement. Dans l'ensemble une grande expérience!

Erittäin lämmin sisällä liian ja kylpyhuone on puhdas, siisti ja moderni. polku aivan mökki on täydellinen ja viehättävä. En voinut vika tätä paikkaa ja tuntui onnekas pysyi siellä. I stayed for two weeks in the Noades studio and enjoyed it. Very easy to access from the M4, only 15 to 20mins from Bristol and you'll jump from the city, the crowd and trafic to a quiet and nice place where you are gonna feel like at home. The place was very clean, nicely decorated and some bunch of flowers from the garden turned it to a lovely place. My bad, it's not a garden, it's gardens as I never saw before. If you enjoy staying in a quiet place and read a book outside, it migh be difficult to choose where to sit at. Jane was very kind to take care of my stay and gently provided some eggs from the neighborhood farm, miles away compared to the ones coming from the store...

It was the perfect place for us. Quiet but close to a lot of nice places. Would defenitely recommend this!

We were looking for a cosy place to spend a quiet NYE and we found it at Jane's. We were greated with a wonderful slice of cake and some eggs from the local farm. Such a great welcoming gift. We spent there four nights. We had a chance to do a couple of great walks along the Cotswold way (it is literally at Jane's doorstep) and go to Bath (20mins away). The kitchen is enough equipped for us to cook-and we spend most nights in. The wifi connection is great! The area is really beautiful and relaxing... Jane is a discreet host and we surely recommend a weekend in Tormarton if you are looking for a nice place to relax!
