Rita and her husband showed us such wonderful hospitality. The home was very clean and we had everything we needed for a great stay - even some breakfast food in the fridge! The back deck is scenic and peaceful. The home is very close to a number of wineries. We would definitely stay here again!

Rita & John are warm and welcoming hosts. We were first attracted to this listing by their donation of rental monies to the International Rescue Committee, a truly generous practice. The in-law apartment is fully appointed with all necessities, and Rita adds things like eggs, milk, cereal, bread & homemade muffins. The house is in the woods, humming birds come to the feeder frequently, and the surrounding peace was lovely. We stayed for 12 nights, ate grapes from their vineyard, talked about the IRC'S great work (my son worked for the IRC for 10 years), and how their space is a refuge of peace and quiet. At the same time, we had all the privacy we wanted. and its location in the middle of Ohio's gorgeous wine country makes it ideal for exploring these treasures, the Metro Parks, the shore and all Lake & Ashtabula counties have to offer a visitor. It is also close enough to Cleveland to visit all the fun places that city offers. We would return in a heartbeat.

This was our first experience and AirBnB and it was a great one. The place was very clean, quiet and it has a private deck, which we enjoyed. Rita and John gave us suggestions for wineries and a great pizza place where you make your own pizza. Location is excellent as it is right between 5+ wineries. Rita and John were great hosts and let us know that our room was ready earlier than expected. I highly recommend staying at this place.

We enjoyed our stay with John and Rita very much. The suite is comfortable...similar to a nice cabin nestled up against beautiful woods at the end of a vineyard and close to a river. The bed is comfy...the shower was great...the space is large with a complete and stocked kitchen, spacious living room, small deck and bedroom. Thanks again to our gracious hosts!

Could not have imagined a better place to stay in this area. John and Rita were very warm and inviting. The property was gorgeous and we really enjoyed picking fresh grapes and the short walk to the lookout point over the river. The space was very clean, smelled of fresh flowers, and had a charming feel to it. We were left plenty of grapes and breakfast options, which was much enjoyed on the deck over looking the ravine. Charlie, the dog on the property, was extremely friendly. We only stayed one night, and regret that we could not stay longer. Would definitely stay here again when visiting the area in the future.

From the beginning John and Rita made us feel like old friends. They showed us around, gave us some history and went out of their way to make us feel welcome to join them or have privacy, whichever we preferred. They helped us with our itinerary also and had a map of suggestions.The place was wonderful and we will definitely look them up whenever we are in the area.

We had an excellent stay at Scott's condo! The views from this condo are incredible. It has a direct beachfront view of Lake Erie. The pictures do not adequately show this. So I was pleasantly surprised by this gem. We stayed here over Easter weekend. The kitchen provided plenty of space to prepare a nice meal and enjoy it with family. Scott was very easy to work with too. I have already recommended this condo to friends and family. Thank you, Scott!

The Piedmont was lovely, clean, charming, and quiet. Plus right within walking distance from anywhere and everywhere we'd want to go! Just right for our stay. Our host Beth was incredibly helpful and eager to assist us on our first trip to GOTL. We had a wonderful, and relaxing stay at the Piedmont and would recommend it to anyone!

Located in a wonderfully quiet, nature filled neighborhood with no through traffic. (Twin fawns casually walked in front of us as we were arriving. Remember to drive slowly.) Easily accessible. Comfortable and more than adequate accommodations. Sparkling clean. Private bath, kitchen, bedroom and house entrance. Many additional and thoughtful touches. Our kind host, Jack, a most interesting and multi talented person, welcomed us with open arms, gave us a tour, handed the house keys to us and left us to do our own thing, yet was only a call way to answer any questions we might have. I highly recommend this Airbnb listing and plan to book it again when we are in the area. It was a wonderful adventure! It is truly country living in a city setting! Jack did a great job communicating and welcoming us to his home. The space is very private at the back of the house. It has a private entry, bath, closet, sitting area and bed. Everything was sparkling clean and well organized. He even put a small refrigerator in the closet with some beverages for us. Jack's property is lovely at the end of a quiet wooded street. It was a perfect stopping spot for us on a long road trip!

Jack was able to be there when I arrived - having thought he may be working. Good conversations with Jack. Jack made simple breakfast available at my leisure. Absolutely quiet, near end of dead end road. Great off-street parking. Huge TV, although I seldom used it due to visiting nearby relatives. W&D for use. Large couch. New memory foam mattress like my own.

The location is peaceful and super convenient. Jack was very friendly and helpful. The amenities are great, especially the mattress and the heat lamp in the bathroom. A great place to stay!

The room was spacious and had its own private bath. The room is located on the back of the house so it provides a feeling of privacy. Jack was a gracious host. We recommend staying with Jack if you need lodging in the area.

Christine was a most welcoming host! We found her instructions to be clear as to arrival and parking. Evening conversation wandered through various topics including geography and wine tasting. The view of Lake Erie was beatiful from her living room and our bedroom. The bedroom was more spacious than I expected, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom just outside our bedroom door was clean and felt private. We went to bed quite early and left before Christine was up. We felt perfectly comfortable in her home and had a great stay on our way from WI to NY.

Christine was great; she welcomed us in person. Gave us very good directions to a state park and how to make it to a local festival in town. Plenty of towels to use. Friendly cats. We were very happy with our stay. Convenient to the interstate.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Christine's place for a wedding that happened to be only five minutes away from her apartment, and for our purposes our stay was really awesome, especially for the price. Christine was very accommodating by allowing us to arrive a night earlier than originally planned with only a day notice. She was very easy to reach and very kind and welcoming. If we had more time, I would have enjoyed being able to chat with her more. The space is exactly as described and more private than I expected. Christine stays there simultaneously, as stated, but your bedroom and bathroom are on the complete opposite side of the apartment from her room, so it is very easy to stay to your space if you so choose. Overall, great stay, lovely host, truthful to the description, and very good value.

Exactly what I was I looking for. It is just as described, a single room with access to your own shower. Her two cats are very friendly just like to say hi every so often. Right off the highways and very convenient if you need to get to downtown or want to stay out in the area. Would stay again.
