I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! April and family were very considerate of my needs. The apartment was exceptionally clean, tastefully decorated, and had everything I needed for an enjoyable relaxing stay.

It's good and affordable place to stay.

The host is friendly and accommodating. He communicates very well. This is a good place to stay on a budget. Recognize that the neighborhood is a little run down and the apartment is dated. Poor kitchen ventilation gives the apartment a strong odor during cooking.

Sigi's place was fantastic! It had everything we needed for our short stay. The basement apartment was clean and homely. Bluetooth speakers and a guest Netflix account kept us entertained during our down-time at the apartment. Excellent internet! It did get a little cold at night, but Sigi had blankets and space heaters to deal with that! Overall, it was a perfect space to stay for the weekend!

Sigi was very communicative, the space feels like a home away from home, and it was the perfect place to stay after a long day of shopping. Would highly recommend!

This place is really cute and very spacious! Super private if need be! My husband and I found everything we needed (even an extra razor I had forgotten) and more at the home and the surrounding area! We loved it and Sigi was really helpful!

Such a homey space, I enjoyed every minute of my stay! Private apartment with private entrance, very safe neighborhood. The netflix account specifically for guests was a nice perk, too! :)

I was looking for a place to stay while visiting friends in the area and didn't want to pay so much for a hotel. Sigi's place looked the best, was central to the places I was going to visit (KC, Gardner, WAFB, KU), and her friendly and open description of her place sold me. It is located on a quiet and safe street right off the highway which means it was easy to get onto the highway. Gas and eating establishments are all within a close drive. There is some information that is useful in a folder on the provided desk. The basement apartment was just as described and I felt very comfortable off the bat. Noise from the house above was minimal. Coming from California to a cold place I wasn't sure if the place was going to be kept warm enough because the thermostat was controlled from the main house but I had no problems there. The laundry area was very useful and clean. Also, no need to bring your own detergent. The only issues I had were that the shower was a little dark for my liking and the headboard to the bed was rickety. Hopefully those can be remedied but they weren't that big of a deal. Sigi was great at communicating (by text, I didn't call, so I can attest to that). The toilet seat was broken and I hadn't noticed, but Sigi told me and offered to fix it quick if I wanted but it was fine for the time being. I had a great experience for my first time in the KC area and would recommend to anyone looking for an affordable spot. :)

This upstairs apartment was as described. The bed was very comfortable and the room quiet with window well draped. I was able to rest well. Shelley communicated well from the beginning to the end.

This was my first time using this service. Shelley was very helpful to me on how it worked and made herself available if we needed anything. Our 4 days and 3 nights spent here was spectacular. We absolutely loved the outside deck area surrounded by the green trees and a nice look at the stars. The home a spacious and quiet. We especially loved the drive to its location. Close to many great places to eat and shopping. We will definately be using this service again and will look at utilizing this property in the future.

Jeanie was an excellent host! She was very friendly and showed us around when we arrived and she had made sure to cover anything we might need. The condo is much bigger on the inside than you would guess from the outside. Very spacious and inviting. It is hidden away in a nice residential neighborhood that is very quiet. It would be a nice place to take walks. It is very close to all the places we needed to go but outside of the hustle of the city. I would highly recommend Jeanie's home to anyone needing a nice place to stay for several people.

Jeanie's place was perfect for my group of 6 friends to meet up in Kansas City and see a concert at the Starlight. We enjoyed having plenty of room to spread out and her hospitality was top notch, she checked in with us several times during our stay to make sure we were doing well, she left us snacks and wine (which was much appreciated), and was flexible in meeting us an hour early with late notice when one of our group turned up early. If you have a big group this is a great place!

Jeanie was very sweet and a very good host. House is very well maintained and we loved it. It is a very good hangout place for a big group of friends and also family. The neighborhood is very quiet. Thank you Jeanie for the wonderful condo :)

Ariel was wonderful! She responded quickly and answered all my questions. She was extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to make us comfortable (even shoveling the snowy sidewalk for us on a 4 degree morning!). The apartment is very large and the beds nice and comfortable. I would recommend being her guest to anyone traveling to the Kansas City area!

Ariel is a very caring and attentive host who respects your privacy. The linen and bath towels are nicer than any hotel. The basement apartment is VERY roomy, comfortable and private with safe parking in a quite neighborhood.

The good: Marietta is easy to communicate with and very helpful. The apartment had a really well equiped kitchen. It had everything we needed to prepare a lovely dinner at "home". Marietta has made sure everything is in good working order and, for me, a well equipped kitchen is a must for an airbnb. There is plenty of hot water for a relaxing shower after a long day on the road and the bathroom is quite large. The beds in the small bedroom were comfy. The family room/kitchen/dinning area is large and spacious. The access from the highway is easy and painless making it convenient to get to. The not so good: There is a strong dog odor that permeates the apartment. The ceilings are very low - this is a basement apartment and I struggled with the low ceilings feeling oppressive. Two of the "bedrooms" do not have windows which was a little too basement to be comfortable. One of the bedrooms, that did have windows, did not have a closet door. This is not the first airbnb that I've experienced this lack of closet doors. It makes the rooms feel unfinished when there are no closet doors. The Wifi was extremly spotty and was very slow. AT&T cell service is also pretty poor as an FYI.

The apartment isn't just "attached" it's a basement apartment. We heard the people upstairs multiple times. We thought it smelled strange and we saw a few bugs. We decided to stay elsewhere and the hosts were more than accommodating, and gave us a refund for the nights we didn't stay wiht them. We talked to the host about the problems and they told us they would be taking care of it soon. These hosts were VERY kind , warm and welcoming. as long as they took care of those issues, I would stay here again. It was a great space for a family visiting the KC area.

This was as described. We enjoyed our stay. Low ceilings. I'm 6'4" and had to duck as I walked through lodging. But that did not distract from our comfort. It actually added to the uniqueness and memories of our stay. The low ceilings made the shower a pleasant surprise as it comfortably accommodated my height. My wife took a long soak in the full-size tub. The kitchen was well stocked. Couldn't find a wine opener. We would indefinitely stay here again!

Great place to step out of the city but still be close to lots of things to do. Country feel, was more then enough space for us, and Marietta was very nice and extremely accommodating.

This basement apartment was set up well. There were muffins, cereal, and other items which we thought was very nice of the hosts to leave for us. We liked the area. It's country but near the highway. The highway isn't noticeable or overly loud. Overall the place is cool, there are some improvements that I think could be made. The people around here are very nice and there is tons of shopping within 5-15 mins depending on what you're looking for. The communication and check-in were great. We heard some occasional footsteps and drain noises. Other than that, the people upstairs were respectful and quiet. We did not really meet them during our 3 night stay. The dog smell was definitely there, as stated in other reviews. We closed 2 of the rooms to mitigate the smell. The sleeping arrangements became a little off kilter because of this. We did have a smaller group of two adults and 3 young children. The smell was a bit of a bummer, but we did not want to bother going elsewhere to stay. We bought candles and had them going only while we were awake and in the unit. We didn't use the fire pit area but would've if we had more time and maybe we're with an older crowd. The living room, kitchen, and bathroom were great. We did use the laundry which was in a separate common area but we did not use the 2nd bathroom. The living room could use a new TV. I think there's potential here. Overall we enjoyed our 3 night stay in the end after making it work.

The communication was excellent! The check-in was seamless! The apartment was clean, well-furnished, and very comfortable. It was a great value. The location was perfect! We were traveling for a memorial for our cousin and coming back at nights felt like we were home. Our hosts were friendly, available, but non-intrusive. I definitely recommend this space. There was plenty of room inside with 4 bedrooms (with trundles), plus a patio with a fire pit and plenty of seating for entertaining. Thanks for a wonderful experience!
