Pretty hard to describe Alfred's other than as a Perth icon. The original Alfred operated from a caravan here, the Guildford owners have continued the fine traditions of pea soup, gob stopping burgers and star spotting around the open fire very late at night.

It is a three minute walk. The Tuesday night $15 pie and pint is the best value in town. The Irish music accompanying is not to be missed. The $22 fish and chips is always tremendous, cold beer, eclectic clientele, so close to the Cottage!
