This is an absolutely delightful place to eat, and it is a very short stroll from the cottage. This is a Vegan restaurant but if you eat meat do not let that put you off - the food here is delicious and innovative and will amaze you. Especially the desserts. it is amazing what they do! The best bit, is that you dont have to pay for expensive alcohol - you take your own drinks and they will give you glasses. To book go to their website and call them to get a table. It is great!

When this restaurant moved to vauxhall, we became Nandos regulars and enjoy a good chicken feast. Great food on a budget with a fun atmosphere.

This is an Indian Restaurant which we recommend for the delicious food. We love this place and it was our choice for a Sunday evening before popping over the road to the Royal Oak for a jolly post-meal drink.

We simply have to recommend this place! A friendly Irish pub with an amazing convivial atmosphere. We know the bar owners and have shared many a great evening here. The locals are friendly and the juke box is great - choose your song and enjoy!

Oh my goodness we have to mention this place too. it is a boat pub floating on the Thames and it serves food (the nachos served with real corn crisps (not oily potato chips!!) was our favourite as a snack with a pint - but ask them not to add jalapenos unless you like things spicy!). This is just a short walk from the house. If it is a sunny day you can sit outside and look towards the Houses of Parliament. it is a great stop off if you decide to stroll into town or walk to the London Eye.
