Walk along the beach from Bath street and up and around the mountain at the end North Head. Amazing views.

This is a really fun place for the kids with all the old WWI war shelters on the hill. Explore the tunnels, slide down the hill on some cardboard, and take in some of the best views of the harbour in Auckland. See if you can find the hidden beaches at lovers cove.
