Granite Falls is a small town incorporated in 1903. Named after the Falls which is located on the way to The Knotty Glamping Cabin out on the Mountain Loop Hwy about 1 mile out of town.
It is growing very rapidly. It's known for it's small town feel & rustic appeal. People are friendly & courteous. It's known for being a outdoorsy country town. It's known for it's amazing, natural hiking areas out on the Mountain Loop Hwy.

If you get hurt hiking or need medical assistance this is one of our two very small clinics here to assist folks. Please call ahead of time to make sure that they are open. The Granite Falls Fire department is a safe bet if you need help and are driving there instead of calling 911.

A popular rocky switch back hike thru the forest up to a picturesque lake view. Be sure to bring water, snacks & a buddy if possible. Always check the weather first & plan accordingly. Let someone know where your going, before heading out & off to hike. Bear spray isn't a bad idea either.

This is on the way to the cabin. Located just outside of town. It's fairly easy unless you have bad knees. Lots of steps. This what are town Granite Falls was named after. It's a great place for photos.

This is a good hike. Be sure to pack a snack & water. Dress accordingly, and be sure to take in the beautiful views a long the way. Do not go into the caves! Enjoy it from a safe distance. People have been crushed from being extra curious and venturing inside of the ice caves. Always tell someone where you're going and when you are expected back. Also, be mindful of wildlife to allow distance between you.
