They have delicious, thin crust, pizza cooked in wood fired oven and a lovely patio. If you prefer quantity, you may wish to try Grubstake pizza, which is also delicious.

Kimberley’s best kept secret. Located at the Centex gas station. Otherwise known as “Stoke”, this store has fresh baked sour dough bread and other yummy baked goods. Sour dough bread comes out of the oven at noon, and it sells out fast. They also have “to die for” grab and go sandwiches and such. There is also a coffee shop if you want a latte to go. There is a fantastic assortment of high quality produce. You may have guessed this, but I LOVE this store!

Sightseeing
There is a nice protected beach with a boardwalk encircling it. Look for painted turtles swimming around.

Hiking
Favourite hikes that are close by:
1. Moe’s Canyon - can be a little icy/snowy and wet in spots in springtime.
2. Dipper Lake - can be a little icy/snowy and wet in spots in springtime.
3. Wycliffe Buttes - Not too heavily treed. Great views and not too difficult. Be cautious because the Grizzlies trek through here at certain times of year. It might not look like bear country, but it is.
4. Marysville Falls - this is a tiny walk, but is really pretty.

Wildlife
If you plan will on hiking or biking, I highly recommend that you carry bear spray. There are lots of black bears in and around Kimberley. Visitors regularly encounter these guys. We have met them on the ski hill, Nordic Trails, and even in town. There are occasionally grizzly bears and cougars in the area. Canadian Tire is a very convenient place to pick up some bear spray (Fernie or Cranbrook). Be sure to watch some YouTube videos on how to use bear spray, if you haven’t done so before. There are also many deer in town; be cautious because they can be aggressive if they have a baby nearby.

Mountain bike and e-bike trails
Be sure to bring your bikes. The Nordic trails double as mountain bike trails in the summer. There are a variety of skill levels, so give them a try. A number of trails were designed for multi-use, including e-bikes.
