Wilton house is only 15 minutes away and has beautiful gardens for picnics and a great adventure playground. It also has a river which is fun for children to paddle in. Unfortunately you can’t take dogs. It has a lovely cafe for lunch and afternoon tea.
Check it is open as it is closed in the winter months and is often used as a film set.

Fantastic family theme park, besides Pepper Pig the park is great for older children up to 14. Probably not big enough rides for teenagers. There’s a splash area so pack towels and a change of clothes for the log flume!

Lovely day out for all the family, only half an hour away. The flying shows are absolutely brilliant, really quite moving.

See the Glastonbury Tor website for more myth & history. The Tor is now owned and cared for by the National Trust. Between April & October the Tor Bus runs between the Magdalene Street car park and the base of the Tor. There is free access to the public at all times.
