Root is a charming, eclectic coffeehouse and EXCELLENT spot for breakfast or lunch. There is an art/souvenir store attached to the restaurant so you can shop while you wait for your food. HIGHLY recommend!

Awesome farm-to-table restaurant in downtown Fennville (about 4 miles from our home). A little pricey, but they always have an interesting menu and delicious food. Great place for a nice night out.

The Blue Goose is a mish mash of 1970's 80's and 90's decor with 1980's pricing (2 eggs, potatoes, and toast is less than $5). Locals frequent this place as well as tourists. It's not fancy, but it's an affordable, yummy, LOCAL place for breakfast or lunch!

Chicken Scratch Farm and Bakery is an adorable small town place to pick up (currently take-out only) breakfast and lunch. Excellent homemade food and delicious pastries.

Wagoner's is the local grocery store in Fennville. You should be able to find most food essentials and more there. While there is not tons of choice like the big grocery chains, they do have a little bit of everything.

Cranes is an experience. It has a U Pick Orchard, a restaurant, and wine tasting (it's more of a wine tasting bar than a tasting "room"). The restaurant is a farm-style restaurant- the kind with grandma's kitchen tables and a hodge podge of wooden chairs. The decor on the walls is collectible/antique and lots of fun to look at while you wait.
The food is home style comfort food (their apple cider is awesome) - sandwiches and pies. Again, a little pricey for what it is, but you're paying for well sourced food, a family run business, and a pretty cool experience. Cranes pie is "famous" in this area - try a "pie flight" if you can't decide between them all!

West County Park has a park with playground equipment and a view of Lake Michigan. In the past there were beach stairs and access to a beach area. More recently, because of beach erosion, the beach stairs and beach have not been accessible. But it's still a nice park and a place where you can see Lake Michigan.

Modaels Wines is a fun, newer winery that has a beautiful tasting room and outdoor seating. We bring our own family and friends to this winery often!

Awesome authentic Mexican food with very quick service! Love their Choriqueso, Carne Asada, and tacos for sure. They also have really amazing salsa.

This is our favorite pizza in the area (that we've found so far). If you like thin crust pizza, this is your place. They do not deliver to our house, but it's a short 12 minute (7ish miles) drive!
