Within a walking distance from the market square you’ll find a new recretional area of Kuopio. Head to the harbour, take a stroll by the Lake Kallavesi, grill your own sausages on a public grill pit by kids’ playground facilities, or take a dip in the blue water. Luoto area offers additionally restaurant, bar and smoke sauna facilities for a charge too since May 2023.
