Entry fee is 18,50 pounds per person. Avoid queues by purchasing your tickets online via the Edinburgh Castle website.
9:30 am to 17:00 pm from Oct to March. Last entry one hour before closing.
The better time to get in is in the afternoon, from 1 pm, to see the One O´clock Gun (every day, except Sunday)

Very nice area with lots of traditional pubs, very close to the flat. There is also a Market every Saturday from 10 pm to 5 pm. Food and handmade souvenirs can be found here. It is worth a visit.

Opening times: 10pm -5pm
