Visit the old barn and petting zoo near the parking lot before taking a stroll up the hill to the old William S. Heart residence where it’s absolutely worth taking one of the free guided tours to find out about the history of William S. Heart, Newhall as well as the early beginnings of silent western movies. Afterwards, it’s worth taking a walk down Main St in Newhall (Downtown) where you’ll find the Western Movie Walk of Fame (similar to the Hollywood Walk of Fame). On Main St in Newhall, you’ll find great restaurants such as Smokehouse On Main, Newhall Refinery and The Old Town Junction as well as cute little shops.
