This bar/restaurant has a relaxed beach environment at the mouth of the Tagus River. It has also the best mussels in the world :) which we normally enjoy with a bottle of "3 castas espumante" sparkling wine. You can also drink a "Cai Bem" in the main street of the village "Cova do Vapor". You may jump into the water, either into the Tagus river or in the Atlantic waves..... or both!

I recommend this place for the Sushi. The Sushi is excellent and not very expensive. It is also a good spot for sunset lovers. Very close to your airbnb. There is another sushi restaurant called "Sentido do Mar" also at walking distance. The Sushi is slightly better and a bit more expensive.

This place is great for sea food or Fish. There is also an outside terrace, which we normally prefer. The views are not exceptional, it is mainly for the food. This is a very popular place among locals for the quality of the food.

This bar is just at the corner of our house. It is very popular among young adults/families. It is inside of the city park. Also an excellent place for sunset lovers. There is frequently live music.

Restaurant "O Mercado" has a young chef with maybe what could be considered as signature cuisine. And not so expensive. It is around the corner. We definitely recommend this place for a positive dinning experience.

This restaurant in Trafaria has the best "arroz de lingueirão" of the world. Grilled fish is also excellent. The village Trafaria is an old Fisher place with many many restaurants. It is the best area to eat grilled fish. The arroz of lingueirão could however well be an epiphanic experience..

There is a trail (you can start from the house) that will bring you to an abandoned military fort in Trafaria. This trail runs north on top of the cliff with an amazing sea and tagus river view. The whole trail will take about 2 hours. This is a very rewarding experience for the trail lovers.

For dancing, we definetly prefer Lisbon downtown. Roterdão has good vibe and fantastic music. On the same street you will find many other clubs and a big crowd of people on the street rotating among the different clubs.
