Just be sure to know the schedule and keep an eye on the time. Orcas Island is wonderful, but you will need to take a vehicle. The best views are on Mount Constitution on Orcas - you can see to the end of the world. Whale watching - Islandadventures.com | We recently took a 3 hour trip out of Everett. Best 3 hours ever. The crew was clearly qualified and loved what they did. 4 grey whales, 10 bald eagles, harbor seals, harbor porpoise, and lots of sea birds. They also do trips out of La Conner. If you are in the area, we would highly recommend this company.

State Highway 11 - from Bow to Bellingham, this drive hugs the side of the cliffs, going through forest. There are lots of pullouts to enjoy the view. Especially beautiful at sunset, but be careful of bicyclists, slow/fast drivers
