Fine dining at its best. Expensive but sooo worth it. 35km away in Bombay but worth the trip. It’s a beautiful setting.

Only a 10 minute drive away is this little slice of peaceful paradise. Good food and a very pleasant setting make for an enjoyable lunch.

After visiting the lighthouse visit Big Bay for a swim in the manukau harbour or just chill on the beach.

High tide swimming is a must as the water goes out a long way and becomes too shallow to swim. Clark’s beach takeaway is just around the corner so grab some fabulous fish n chips and relax on the beach for lunch or dinner depending on the tides.

This is where the thoroughbred yearling sales happen each January and is a real spectacle. A vibrant and exciting atmosphere and beautiful horses. Only 15 minutes drive on a rural road to get there from our Cottage.
