Amazing hiking in this area! Highly encourage a hike safe card. A WMNF (White Mountain National Forest) map or All trails is a fantastic phone app to assist with hiking routes . Great hikes included here. Some of these hikes have access roads blocked seasonally check white mountain national forest website for road closures in winter.

Stunning Ridgeline. Please use caution with this trail and download AllTrails or a map as a reference. Falling waters trail has wonderful waterfalls but I would not descend that trail and would use old bridle on descent.

Family friendly hike with wonderful views that is a short distance away. If you don’t want to do the whole loop bypass the loop cross the road at echo lake beach cannon take a right and use the trial shortly after for a quick .25 up and .25ish down.

Iconic mountain in the Pemi Wildnerness. Lincoln woods is a good starting point or if you are up to a 19 mile trek a zealand bond traverse is amazing! Zealand through the bonds is the most magical traverse. Use caution, AllTrails or a map, and hydrate! You won’t regret this one of you are able. Will need a car spot (park zealand start and finish Lincoln woods!)

Highly recommend. It is long (just under 10 miles out and back) but very doable (gradual). Kids could do this if you take your time. It is a 4k with stunning views of the Pemi.

Green Frog trail takes you to a beatiful area to set up chairs and sit by the river. If you take a left of 93 north off exit 37 you will come right out to a dirt parking lot where you can enjoy this area and swim. (6 minutes from home)
