This entire region is full of wineries, ranging from small, boutique establishments, to the large, mainstream estates (Mission Hill comes to mind)! Lake Country has a great wine route that one can tour however you desire! There are numerous wine tour companies (Sip Happens, MJ Tours), or simply bribe a family member to be the designated driver, and you can explore (and more importantly partake in tasting) at your own pace! Wine Festivals take place in September/October!
