Coomba Park - Kayaking, SUP, Fishing, Swimming, Boating or simply relaxing by tranquil Wallis Lake
Coomba Park is a real hidden gem, a tranquil lakeside village far enough away from the hustle and bustle, yet close enough to Forster and surrounding areas. There are so many things to do in and around Coomba Park.
A walk to and around the lake is 2min away from our door step.
Bring your own Paddle Board or Kayak and launch it from any point on the foreshore, there are also docks and wharfs dotted along the lake if you prefer that.
Wallis Lake is a saltwater beautiful lake to swim in.
Children’s playground is 10mins walk down Coonabarabran Rd. There is also an enclosed pool area down there if you prefer to swim in a netted area.
We have Gamesfor Adults as well as kids at the house as well as Booksfor adults and kids.

Coomba Park also has a Tennis Court– it’s only a 5-minute walk away (don’t forget to bring your own Tennis gear) Located on Moorooba Rd Coomba Park
A great place to SUP, Canoe, fish or swim - Wallis Lake is a salt water lake in Coomba Park. With lots of green spaces/grassy park areas to rest, picnic, yoga or meditate. There is a enclosed netted lake pool for swimming, a boat ramp, a number of jetty’s dotted along the lake, as well as a BBQ area and playground.
There is a large resident Kangaroo population, you’ll often see them at the front of the house.
A truly tranquil place to picnic, relax, explore or simply watch the sunset.

The beach is actually boomerang shaped and is ideal for swimming with protection from prevailing winds at either end. ... The rocky headlands have some great rock pool rambles at low tide.

I recommend Treachery Headland Walking track, it’s an easy walk through the coastal rainforest (including an impressive giant fig tree) which heads down to Treachery Beach and offers impressive views of Sugarloaf Point Lighthouse, the rocky headland and the coastline.

The stunning Cellito Beach has been likened to Byron, or should we say ‘The new Byron’… Only we think it’s better. With a rainforest walkway leading to this stunning beach, it’s a must and only 15mins away from Lakeside Boathouse.
