This free attraction is one of the Niagara Parkway's hidden gems. Walk through the stunning gardens and arboretum, all meticulously maintained by the Niagara College School of Horticulture. The butterfly conservatory is also located on site.

Port Dalhousie is a beautiful small town located right on Lake Ontario. It has the feel of a beach town: they have a nice beach and a pier, and you can still ride the large antique carousel for 25 cents. Bring a picnic or eat at one of the many restaurants by the water.

We got married here in 2015, at the Navy Hall on the grounds of Fort George, and it's one of our favourite places to visit in Niagara Region.

Zoom will bring bikes right to you, or you can go to their rental agency in Niagara Falls or Niagara-on-the-Lake. Bikes are a great way to travel in Niagara, and the ride along the Niagara Parkway between Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake is spectacular, with views of the Niagara Gorge. Lots of places to stop along the way too, from wineries, to the cable car across the gorge, to Brock's Monument. Pack a lunch and make a day of it.
