Activities
Lapakisto is a very important nature reserve in southern Finland, about 15 km from the center. There are well-maintained nature trails in Lapakisto all year round. There are also suitable routes for those traveling with children. You can take camping food with you, as there are also sausage grilling stations along the routes.
Lapakisto on Etelä-Suomessa erittäin merkityksellinen luonnonsuojelualue, noin 15 km päässä keskustasta. Lapakistosta löytyy hyvin ylläpidettyjä luontopolkuja ympärivuoden. Sopivia reittejä löytyy myös lasten kanssa matkaaville. Retkieväät voi ottaa mukaan, sillä reiteiltä löytyy myös .makkaranpaistopisteitä.

Lapakiston nature reserve

In the harbor you will find several cafes and ice cream kiosks in the summer. In winter, there is also an excursion skating rink on the lake, weather permitting.
Kävelymatka Vesijärven satamaan on noin 15 minuuttia. Kävely alkaa "pikkuveskulta", jossa voi kesäisin oikean hetken sattuessa bongata myös vesiurkujen konsertin. Satamasta löydät useita kahviloita ja kesäisin jäätelökioskeja. Talvisin järvellä kulkee myös retkiluistelurata säiden salliessa.
