The Denali Highway is certainly one of the most spectacular drives in the world. Much of the route lies above timberline, so the vistas go on forever. The mountains and glaciers of the Alaska Range form a majestic backdrop, with miles of rolling tundra punctuated by shallow lakes in between. The road is 135 miles in one direction, however, it is worth a short leisurely drive if you only go 10 - 20 miles in. On a clear day you will have great views of Denali when you head West back to Cantwell.

You will need a car in this area.
We are located right off George Parks Highway in Cantwell, AK. There is limited cell service for several miles around the cabin, however, we do have great reliable high speed internet!
