From fine dining to Thai, Malaysian, Italian, Indian and the casual and relaxed Australian pub meal....you wont be disappointed of the choices available to enjoy. The city center does get busy on weekends so reservations for dinner are highly recommend.

With dunes, wonderful houses on the hill to admire and kilometers of white sand to stroll along in the morning or evening, the holiday mode is here. Try your hand at fishing, or take the exercise steps at the local Blacks Beach Reserve and admire the wonderful view from the top over the Mackay region. Local restaurants, tavern and take-away cafes are all in walking distance. If you require a supermarket or local BWS they are 5mins drive away.
