Bisbee is an old mining town which has renewed life with arts, antiques, thrift, food, fun, fun, fun!!! You will experience an above sea level altitude of 6200 ft. at Mom's Place and 5500 ft. downtown. Everything in "Old Bisbee" is in walking distance. If you feel you need to get a lift, there are golf cart tours and you can hop on and the friendly drivers will take you most places. Bisbee is very unique because if you are looking for peace and quiet it's here. If you are looking for party, party, partay, it's here too. Really great place to get a breath of FRESH air. When we were there in September, the air quality was 8. Pretty cool. Bring good walking shoes, hats and we supply the fun.

Tombstone is a very interesting place to spend a day. It's about 1/2 hr. drive from Bisbee. Here you can see the Boot Hill Cemetary and saloons with characters in cowboy attire. There is a fight at the OK Corral and lots of walking.

Sierra Vista was a military base, basically, which has grown into a fairly large city. Here you will find the usual retail stores and restaurants, fast food and the Fort Huachuca Army Base. Sierra Vista is approx. 1/2 hr. from Bisbee.

Food scene
We have been eating at BBC for many years. Mitzi, our dear friend, runs the place and she is a doll!! Always mention Johnnie and Clyde and she will make sure you get VIP treatment. The food is so varied you will have so many choices. My favorite is the Chicken Char with the artichoke fritters, extra crispy! It's a great salad dish. Clyde likes the Chicken Fried Steak the best. They, of course, have all the favorite traditional breakfasts too. This little gem is located in Lowell which you will need to bike or drive. It's about 6 min. from Bisbee maybe less. There are brochures at Mom's Place.
