My most favorite neighborhood in Pompano Beach. Harbor village is a small neighborhood east of Federal Hwy and North of Atlantic that has houses situated on the canals. I love strolling up and down Harbor Drive with my little ones.

Head north up A1A and drive through Hillsboro Beach, Deerfield, up to Boca. Wonderfully relaxing and scenic drive. Plus you can see the Versailles inspired mega mansion which last sold for 42.5 million dollars.

There is a toe-path that runs along the perimeter of the air park (which is adjacent to the community park). You will see everyone out in the morning running, jogging, strolling, and biking. It’s super fun to get out and run with the community!

Rent a Car
Unless you’re in a condo right on the beach, you are gonna need a car. There is a beach circuit and bikes to rent as well on the boardwalk but a car is best.

Pompano has great arts and culture from the live music on the Great Lawn on the beach to concerts at the stadium at the community park.

Pompano Beach boasts the highest percentage of population (not gross number) of Brazilians living in the USA (even higher percent than NJ). There more languages you can speak the better. At the supermarket you will hear Hatian Creole, Portuguese, Spanish, and more.
