One of the largest farmers market in Michigan! Fresh produce, flowers , candles, meat and fish, honey, spices, Amish baked goods, furniture, signs, clothes, homemade products and so much more! The Gypsy Junk tent is always a hit. The homemade pickles are the best. The ‘Pie Guy’ is a must. And don’t forget the popcorn that you can smell through the market and the fresh squeezed lemonade! The farmers market is every Saturday from May through mid October from 9am to 1pm.

Food scene
One of our favorite restaurants to visit! Pricing is on the higher end but worth every penny! Especially the handcrafted cocktails and desert! While they do offer a small kids menu it’s best for date nights.

This place boasts the only restaurant with lakeside views in Huron County. Great atmosphere with good drinks. Outdoor patio is spacious with games and live entertainment.

Beaches
Here are all the beaches within minutes!
Beautiful public beach with bathrooms and changing stations. Grills and tables available on a first come first serve basis. Clean beach (no rocks or muck) with sand bars and lots of room to swim and explore. You can also walk to the West and see “the rock”.

On the North side of the road in front of the cottage is Port Crescent State Park. So you are looking at beautiful nature, not other cottages! If you walk less than a quarter of a mile to the East there is an entrance to the hiking trails.
