If you want to get your "Upper Eastside" on then go to Sarabeth's. It is not cheep but, man, is it good!! My fav is their creamy tomato soup... but it's all good!

SO inexpensive. I get $1.25 tamale's there at least a couple times a week (that's right, a buck and a quarter)! It's right off the 103rd subway stop so it's very convenient on my way home!
