Great local spot, at front of our neighborhood by the lake at the Boardwalk. Great cheese, meats, and fruit platters, along with sandwiches, salad- yummy!, and soups. Selection of non alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. Adult atmosphere, outdoor seating also.

Great Mexican Food, casual atmosphere. Austin based Chuy's has wonderful food, great spice, and a fun attitude. This is a top notch stop on our list for good food. Open until at least 11pm, which is nice when other places start to shut.

If you want a good steak and a nice night out, we recommend Peli Peli, great spot! A little bit of a drive from our home, but worth it! Fine dining, you can have a more casual meal if you try, there are lighter choices - South African style.
