Visit the many local vineyards and on weekends during the summer months, enjoy some live entertainment. It can be crowded during beautiful weather (because it's such a wonderful way to spend a day), but worth waiting for a parking space at the vineyards. It really is a lovely way to spend a day and the drive is a lot of fun.

This is a nice day trip. Take the ferry there or back, and stop at one of the restaurants along the riverfront in Grafton or Fast Eddie's Bonaire in Alton, IL for a casual environment and live music.
