Awesome local ice cream parlor. Retro style and delicious flavors you won't find elsewhere. They serve coffee as well. My fave flavor is Peanut Butter Fudge Pie but the Smoky Salty Chocolate Almond is a strong contender. You also can't go wrong with Bananas Foster or Red Velvet.

Beautiful park for walking, cycling, picnics and more. Many nature talks by Audubon Institute and often live music events as well. There is a public golf course in the middle of the park, and the zoo is across the street. Several playgrounds close to the St. Charles side of the park.
