The local woods. Wonder down the roman road that runs for miles straight through the wood or wonder off onto the many footpaths. Check out the bluebells in the spring. Venture deep into the woods and enjoy the peace.
If you're feeling brave you might want to visit the 'witches trees' about a 10 minutes walk down the roman road on the left hand side. These large beech trees are through to have grown from the graves of 4 sisters that were accused of witch craft and buried in the wood!
