Our 3-bedroom home is 200 sq. meters (2153 sq. feet) large and is a marriage between traditional Japanese architecture and modern technology and comfort. The home is accessible from Tokyo and other major cities via the Shinkansen bullet train or Joshin-etsu Expressway.

Our 130 year-old traditional Japanese house has been renovated for your comfort while holding onto its history. Renewed as a duplex house! You have almost the entire 1st&2nd floors of the west side of the house. Limited to one group per day. Please see below about the house.

Kamesei Ryokan is a family-run traditional onsen inn with mostly warm wood construction and gardens throughout. We are an American-Japanese couple that are happy to share our onsen town Togura-Kamiyamada with visitors curious about the Japanese countryside. You can relax wearing yukata robes in your private tatami mat rooms and enjoy the hot spring mineral baths rich in sulfur content. (The onsen baths are tattoo-friendly.) Our chef's creative kaiseki-style dinners are highly recommended.

3 min walk to Matsumoto castle and Nawate street. The Hostel faces a quiet street and there are some good-old restaurants, Izakaya bars and a public bath around there. The building is renovated traditional Japanese house so that you can enjoy cozy Japanese atmosphere and have a relaxing time on the Kotatsu, hammock and couch sofa in the common area. The room is Japanese-style dormitory room with bunk beds. Each bed has a reading light, outlets and a storage box for valuable items.

Unique Stay in an Old Sushi House, Ueda Nagano

This inn was once a 92-year-old sushi restaurant, now renovated to let guests stay in a real sushi house. The retro design keeps the original counter and lighting, creating a nostalgic and warm atmosphere. The whole house is rented privately for up to 16 guests, with spacious rooms and shared areas. Yokoya Farm is an apple farm located on a hill. 10 mins drive from downtown of Matsumoto. We’ll host you with the idea that we want you to enjoy staying at farmer’s storehouse, kura. It’s comfortable enough to stay with minimum facilities and it left the feature of the original building. (One group only for a day) You’ll enjoy to see an apple farm. *If you have small children who can sleep with you, you can make a reservation for 5 people.

Maison d'hôtes KIRISIMIZU

“Maison d’hotes KIRISI MIZU”, is a Irimoya style (traditional Japanese house, similar to Temple) that has been beautifully restored from traditional materials and passed down from my grate-grand parents generation. The entire house is done in a classic style as used to be, except for a newly built kitchen, toilet and bathroom that provide all the necessities of modern life.

　この宿はアパートの一室を宿に提供しています。 「1人2泊までの方は1000円の追加料金を頂きます。 　1月12日現在、２人目の暖房費1日につき５００円が加算されていません。操作上。ついては現地で頂きます。 　 冬季の申し込みが出てきました。1月25日から3月5日までは２人一室の方を優先します。1週間前に空室でした、１人でも受け入れます。 雪化粧の北アルプスの山並みは圧巻です。国営公園安曇野のイルミネーションも素晴らしいです。車で3分の大温泉郷「穂高温泉郷」も心を癒してくれふます。 白馬，大町へのスキーに便利です。 松本城、上高地、わさび田、黒部ダム、白馬へも便利です。 森のハイジ安曇野ワンはワンルームにバストイレ、小さな台所がついています。食器、鍋などは最小限度のもの。レンガ造り3階建。近くにスーパー、コンビニがあります。
