We are the descendants of an old San Mateo County pioneer family. We have been passed down and live on a 40 acre redwood forest, backed by 1000 acres of parkland. We would like to share our forest with you. Take a walk and learn of the history behind La Honda's Woodwardia Lodge built in 1913. Walk on private 150 year old logging trails at this historic getaway. Enjoy the natural beauty of the surrounding Redwood forest. Cozy up in a 40' New 2024 RV. All proceeds go to restoring WJS Log Cabin.

Stay on a farm animal rescue in a 38’ yellow school bus conversion. If you are interested we also host an Airbnb Experience called Life With Farm Animals At Rancho Roben Rescues where you get a 90-120 minute up close encounter with all of the animals - taking time to learn about each of the unique creatures that lives here and the opportunity to interact with them directly. Pet a chicken, groom a pony, feed a goat, take a walk patrolling the fields with our livestock guardian dogs.

Built in 1977, this modest 32’ Airstream rests on a ridge top that over looks the San Lorenzo Valley. It is not uncommon to witness a Redtailed Hawk flying overhead or a small band of Squirrels rustling in the trees. The Hacienda is centrally located and only 5 minutes to Ben Lomond town center, 10 minutes to Henry Cowell State Park & only 20 minutes to Santa Cruz.

Pick your campsite within 150 miles of Alameda, and I’ll drop it off and set everything up for you.

Unit is hooked up full time to electric, water, and septic. No action needed from the guest for those task.

This will be your own private space, with access to a private bathroom in the main house. You are also welcome to relax in the patio area, or star-gaze on the roof deck of the bus!

Enjoy the Airstream nostalgia! It's surprisingly comfortable and inviting. A 1972 Airstream Sovereign Landyacht that has been updated for a cozy stay. Alameda is an island town with a beach nearby and easy access into SF or Oakland.
