This is a rare opportunity to enjoy a private lakefront, as only homeowners and guests have access to the water! Surrounded by old growth forests, this secluded getaway sits on 4 acres for you to explore. Oh and don't forget to look up! Our guests can enjoy unobstructed views of the spectacular Aurora Borealis. #GBJ-0003 Come stay on a beautiful acreage (65 acres) beside our stone house set on a hill overlooking a lake on one side and hills of maple, white pines and limestone cliffs on the other. The cozy 1 bedroom sleep cabin with a hot tub, its own bathroom and kitchenette accommodate our airbnb guests. We have gardens, apple trees, chickens, maple forest we tap, the lake for you to swim and play in with canoes and a sauna, as well as trails to walk in to enjoy nature and the abundant wildlife.

Available year round, enjoy a relaxing stay in this 4 bedroom, 2 story air conditioned cottage less than 200 feet from the largest beach on Manitoulin Island, in Providence Bay. Fully furnished - sleeps up to 8 with exclusive access of the entire cottage! We offer additional services for purchase including firewood, full linens for all beds, showering towels, bike & kayak rentals. Bedding fees are no more than $10/bed and $5/towel, but we often discount this based on the number of guests.

Bring your tent and trailers if you are a large group and have a reunion or a family getaway! Priced separately.

Breakfast/snack foods provided. Fully-renovated basement apartment in a shared home, perfect for families travelling with young children. Surprisingly bright bedrooms, comfy living area and full bathroom. Large kitchen with plenty of counter space and a dishwasher :) A highchair, potty seat and children's plates/bowls are all included. Toys, movies and books are available as well. There is a TV with Roku and DVD player (no cable).

The Cedar Rose

Built in 2018, our off-grid cedar cabin is tucked away in a mixed woodland on beautiful Manitoulin Island. It is uniquely decorated with antiques, thrift store finds and handicrafts collected from our travels around the world as far as Africa, Japan, Costa Rica and Canada’s Arctic. Our space is an inviting space to unwind, unplug and wake up to the sounds of the birds after enjoying the stars on a clear night.
