On Strawberry Creek in Idyllwild's historic district, the Owl Pine Guest Cabin was built in 1922. It's the best of both worlds w/ plenty of nature (burbling creek, rock paths, trees, birds, mountain air, stars) + close to civilization (the property is near restaurants/shops). Native rock fireplace, hot tub, eclectic art, record collection/player, games, books, TV, Wifi, BBQ, fire pit hang deck. We have a chicken coop, happy to leave eggs at the cabin upon request. Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish cottage. The place is cozy, sunny and sweet as a honey bee. Perfect for a couple who wants to stay far from the noise and crowd of the big cities. Enjoy outdoor barbecue and dining area, listen to the singing birds, watch the playing squirrels and bright stars. Small, but well equipped kitchenette. Private bathroom in the main house - 20 feet from your cottage. Washer available. All animals are more than welcome :-)

Treetop Hideout is a classic alpine chalet perched high on the ridge overlooking Idyllwild village, surrounded by panoramic views of the San Jacinto mountains. This secluded, quiet little cabin is for all forest lovers, but would be most enjoyed by folks with an adventurous spirit (see Winter Access). You will be greeted with the stillness of the woods, sunrise + sunset views from two cantilevered balconies, all while wrapped in a cozy, luxurious interior.
