A loop trail up a small mounting. The whole loop takes a hour or less with a gorgeous view of the sound from the top.

Right down the end of Fernald Point Road. . Takes only about 12 minutes to get to the top. Fantastic views. Have your Acadia National Park pass visable in your car. Easy hike but with a few rocks to scramble over a bit, near the top; not difficult.

This is a fun and easy hike for kids but still has great views of the Somes Sound. It also has a nice beach in the middle which is fun for a picnic site or swimming.
