Great place, in a central location in town, to take a quick hike or mountain biking trip.The trails are well-maintained and there are many different levels of exertion required depending on which trail you choose
Palmer Park is well known for its incredible mountain biking Trails, hiking trails, and views. Terrain is easy, allowing visitors a Colorado experience without wearing you out too much!
Miles of hiking/biking to be done in here. Trails are rated by difficulty and the views from the top mesa are beautiful.

This is a MUST see. The pics do not go it justice but s beautiful park in the middle of the city with impeccable views.
This park is about a 12 minute walk for our front door or a 3 minute drive. Take some water and enjoy the many miles of trails. A trail map is in your guest guide book. You won't see many tourists here!

A multitude of trail combinations that make it very easy to make your hike/mountain bike into an all day affair. This trail system has everything from easy flawy trails to black diamond deserts through rock gardens. Best view of Pikes Peak in town!
Dog Friendly Trails. Usually lots of people on these trails. Loops ranging from 1-6 miles. Easy hikes. Beautiful Views.

“North Cheyenne Canyon Park (2.0 miles away) Canyon scenic drives with easy hiking and walking paths just off the road. Picnic tables, streams, wildlife, and multiple ways to Instagram your heart out. While driving through the canyon, check out Helen Hunt Falls. If you are in Cheyenne Canyon and feeling adventurous, follow North Cheyenne Canyon Road out onto Gold Camp Road/Lower Gold Camp Road. This drive offers scenic views of the whole city and a couple of waterfalls. This nine-mile mountain drive will loop you back into the city via Lower Gold Camp Road. Be advised-- most of the road is unpaved but easy to drive. Allow an hour to make the loop. 2110 N. Cheyenne Canyon Road, Colorado Springs. Cost: Free ”
